Selover's Lookout

Nice lookout just in front of the Maroondah reservoir park gate.

Great view with big lake and mountain in the side - very peaceful and romantic.

A water catchment area & not entrance allowed for public vehicles.

The area contains water catchment for Melbourne City usage & we could only overlook the scenery from car park.

The view over the forest across the lake is magnificent though.

We went there during very rainy weather so could not see much, but I am sure if it was not raining the view would have been nice.

I world class view in a fantastic spot. The view of the damn is amazing and the forrest is beautiful beyond that. There is no ammenities here. But it’s doesn’t stop car loads of tourists stopping. A short drive to Healesville although bad tourist drivers have caused the speed limit to be dropped to a crawl.

The scenery was breathtaking. It had a very chill vibe to it, and the mountain road was very quiet; I could have stayed here for hours.

Great lookout at both Sunrise and sunset, beautiful place, and I love this tree. Also checkout Black Spur drive roughly 15 minutes from here.

Amazing views. Had no idea it even existed! Love Victoria, will never get to see all it has to offer.

A really beautiful little look out!! Great for a short stop off if you've driven all the way from the city and want to get out of the car to stretch your legs!

Just a very pretty place to take 5 before hitting the road again to head to Marysville or where ever you're going in the Yarra Valley! :)

Good place to stop for tourists, especially Melbournites, to checkout part of the city’s water supply. Good 5G coverage up here too.

One of the most beautiful lookout spots it’ll be on your way if you’re heading to king lake or healesville or Buxton

Had a little stop over on my way. A nice place but i wish there was a path to go down the hill.

Unexpectedly pretty view by the side of the road. Space for about 3 or 4 cars to stop, but that's it (no toilets or anything like that). Worth the (brief) stop.

Had a snack on this view.. was a magnificent stopover. Don’t miss it if you coming by.

Beautiful place to stop off, often stop for lunch (from Bakery down the road). Just a pull in off the road no amenities just a bit of parking and a view

Stunning views! Unfortunately photos do not do it justice. This place is a must visit for those coming into the area.

Great spot to take in the view and take some photos for Instagram 😜. This place is just a car park - so no tables for chairs for having a picnic.
