Watts River Brewing

Stopped in with my partner during a weekend in the Yarra Valley and was blown away by this lovely joint. The beer selection was diverse, the atmosphere welcoming and I loved the keg turned urinal in the loo. Ordered a paddle and then a six-pack to take home. Now sitting back home in Melbourne and enjoying a fine IPA paired with fond memories of Watts River. Great work lads!

Loved it! They say they're puppy friendly & they really are. Our old girl lay at our feet are we sampled beers & ate pizzas. Highly recommend & hope to fit in another visit whilst we're in the area. Thanks guys!

Good beer! Thoughtful venue, provides free tea and coffee and games as well as tampons and pads in the bathroom. Very nice staff too.

We often fly people out to Watt's River Brewery by Helicopter from Melbourne and every single guest loves the time they spend at Watt's River. The beer paddles taste great, the staff are excellent and the place has a great, relaxed atmosphere. The only problem we have is fitting the cases of beer they want to take home back into the helicopter!

Delicious beer and friendly team. We stopped by on the way back into Melbourne and it was great to find such good beer. They will take you through a taster explaining each beer and at the time we went the cost of the taster came off any purchase. In a gap between serving they were also happy to show around the brewery. Great start up, will definitely try to get back.

Friendly and helpful staff. Generous tastings (free if you make a purchase of anykind), six different styles on tap in a cozy environment, (3 space heaters on the go on Sunday). Pizza available, games to play for the kids, dog friendly and an outdoor area for smokers.

Great tasting paddle! We were given 5 different types of beers including one special brew as the last one to try. Everything was great and staffs were super friendly. If you don't want beer they also have a wine list. In terms of food, pizzas were on the menu but if you want something more substantial to eat you might want to head to restaurant. Overall a great experience

Great selection of beers. Very informative tasting. It's always great when the tasting is hosted by one of the owners. You can really see their passion of their beers through the way they explain everything.
Enjoyed the tasting and a few beers afterwards.
Dog friendly place where you can sit around a table or couch and enjoy a great tasting beer.
Purchased some beers to bring home to enjoy later also.
Would highly recommend this place.

Hi There,
I visited your brewery last month and I have to say, after visiting quite a number breweries I was sure that there would never be an occasion that I would get a tasting paddle of beers where I would go back for every single one of the beers in that paddle.
Not being a fan of stouts also I was sure that there would be at least one.
I was wrong.
Your brewery changed that.
Every single one of your beers (at least in my eyes and those of the folks with me) were bang on point.
We thank you for the effort you have put in and appreciate all of your hard work to be able to create the beers that you do.
I just wish they were on tap somewhere around me.
That being said as a home brewer I have something now to aim for.
Again though thank you for nailing all your beers and not just settling for a couple like a lot of the others do.

We visited the brewery with the intention of getting a few beers to cool off. We were offered a selection of beers to try out and were impressed with the quality and taste. Well worth a visit, oh and they offer pizza on their lunch menu.

Quick stop - nice beer options - liked their Nippys lite, their Rivers pale ale and Blonde. Washed down a good tasting pizza and not too big. So nice outside on a sunny day. Oh and friendly staff - cool atmosphere.

Had an amazing experience with my family. Pizza was amazing and the beer tasted something different and is a must to try plus the lady on counter was excellent in customer service.

Though one-man army that day, Aaron was extremely friendly and looked after us very well. We stopped by on the way back into Melbourne and it was great to find such good beers brewed onsite, you can smell the hops. My personal favourite is their Stout. Purchased some beers to bring home to enjoy later. Would highly recommend this place and come back again when in the area.

Had a fantastic experience at the brewry. Tasting was good as, and the food was very good as well!
The place is inviting with its rustic but comfortable lounges that simply invited me to stay longer! Lol
I bought a few beers as well, as I definitely love to bring down to my place the Watts river beers!

Great little brewery in Healesville doing classic core range craft beers and some fun seasonals. I’ve tried many of their Belgian style beers which are great.

Chilled out, dog friendly and great staff. Ohh and the beer is great. Got to do location for your trip.

Worth the stop. I was amazed at how quiet this place was when the gin place up the road was packed. It has quirky decor, board games, sausage dogs and craft beer. You sit nearby all the vats where each beer is made. The guys running it were great giving us info during a tasting and if I wasn't driving I'd stay longer. Only down side is I had to drive.

Love this place! Such a friendly and relaxed vibe. Owners and staff are super friendly and welcoming and it's dog friendly too. It's nice to find a gem like this where you can enjoy a few drinks and pizza without the large rowdy crowds that some other venues attract. I will definitely be back.
