Oh what to say!!!! 20/10 best Benny I’ve ever had. At first I thought the pork belly and egg combo was strange but best whim I ever had!!! There is a walnutty (is that even a word 🤔) maple flavour somewhere in there and it really was a treat amongst the textures of the radish, crispy bottom (hash potatoe??) best runny eggs and the rocket!!!! Genius. From NZ but if I were from here I’d definitely be a regular 🧡🧡

Food is amazing!! Must try their Pancakes. Staff are very welcoming and make great recommendations.

Friendly staff and great local cafe. The place looks inviting and has a warm atmosphere. My wife and I can here for breakfast and the food was great. Will definitely recommend.

Hands down best chilli scramble with the Chinese sausage, roti open 'wrap', and actual hint of heat unlike so many other versions. Coffee delicious. Staff were intuitive, friendly and helpful throughout.
We came on a beautiful sunny day when the ambience was upbeat but still relaxing and not too busy. What a hidden gem. Will add to list of tried and true faves

The Moroccan lamb special was to die for. Very Flavourful and had a wonderful texture as it was perfectly slow cooked.

The walnut scrolls were amazing! I was so amused by how soft they were.
Apparently, they are made fresh everyday. A perfect pair for a cup of coffee.

Amazing coffee! And soo fast! If you need a coffee hit and are out at the shops, definitely hit this place up! Soo amazing and great size cups! Also I cannot believe how quick they were at making my takeaway coffee. Cant wait to go back to try a bite to eat!

We came back here to give this place another chance and as per the owner comments. The experience this time was completely different. The server was amazing, quick to provide us with our menus, grab our order and clean our plates away. I'll stand corrected on my initial thoughts and feelings. I look forward to this place becoming a more regular pitstop on our weekends.

1 Star - Decided to go out for a coffee after a hot walk on the weekend. We arrived and decided to head inside - we only wanted to order coffees and we thought we'd save the waiters the trouble of collecting menus and serving us directly. We sat down after we were instructed to find a table and we'd be served. My partner and I waited for ~15 minutes before he went back inside. At the same time, a waiter finally arrived at our table. They provided menus to which we said we only wanted coffees - they turned and walked away.. maybe they misheard us. We took the opportunity to have a conversation - about 15 minutes in we realised we still hadn't been served. So in total- (for those still ready) we've been here 30 minutes and we've still not managed to get a coffee in hand. We interrupted someone cleaning to ask if we could order. During our wait we noticed a number of times the waiters had to return to other tables to clarify an order or return an order because what they received wasn't what they ordered. The tablet ordering system seems flawed. I could probably tell you the order from the table next to us as they repeated themselves at least 4 times to 2 different waiters... I personally can't see myself returning. The team were pretty disinterested we were there - they seemed overwhelmed with the tables and the stress from the kitchen and wait staff was so obvious. Given this place was bustling maybe we stumbled in at a bad time.

Hands down best Eggs bene with salmon! Healthy and super delicious, with crunch.
Super happy this is 5mins from home, so I will definitely be revisiting every chance I can get.
Price point is spot on for the quality of food dishes out at this “almost” secret spot.

Found on google about halfway down the list thought I'd try it. Greeted by the lovely staff who were kind genuine people and the food was fantastic and what you could call #instagramworthy for under $20 would recommend and will be returning!

Twice a week at least! This is a great addition to our area and has proved itself as a popular location. We do a regular morning coffee each week and on weekend with the kids trying the variety of hot chocolates on offer. Food is always well presented but, the staff are the crown jewel. Friendly and accommodating with the outlook to ensure a memorable experience every time.

This cafe has a cozy warm atmosphere. The coffees and Brownies here are my favorite! The staff are very friendly and are easy going to have a nice chat too. I will always go to this Cafe as it’s my favorite one. Looking forward to dining in having dinner at this fine establishment when this pandemic is over.

Love this place! Every weekend we come by for a coffee, buy a sourdough loaf (which is the best I’ve ever had) and enjoy some other things on the menu and the staff are always so friendly. So glad this cafe is our local!

I have been coming here for a while now. I have never had a bad meal and the coffee is always good.
Can get busy so be prepared to wait sometimes.

Every time I order a new special it arrives and blows all expectations out the window... today it was the Apple Crumble french toast... your Chef is a keeper. He is amazing, and all your staff are always lovely. My favourite place!!

Omg the cinnamon buns are amazing! I now understand why they sell out so quickly every day. Well done Village Foodstore, can't wait to try everything else on your menu

Incredible family friendly atmosphere where the food tastes as good as it looks. Scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection along with generous portions of what can only be described as quality produce. Thanks guys we will be back soon!

Beautiful little place nestled in between other takeaways and small businesses. Lovely atmosphere and coffee is amazing.

Amazing food, generous portions. Couldn't finish my massive cheeseburger, and not happy with myself about it. Will be going back for my revenge on the Village Cheeseburger soon, it wont defeat me!
10/10 great local cafe can't wait to go back.

as always is Sensational best Coffee ever.
It is great to be able to spend time here again on a regular basis with all the ups and downs of Covid. I must say I feel very safe sitting inside or out.
