A large range of second hand products are available here, at fair and reasonable prices (unlike the department store op shops). From clothing, CDs and DVDs, kitchen ware, briq, plus braq. And if you buy here you're supporting an animal support group. In my mind, there's no better reason for visiting. I'll be back!

Clean and well organised. Great selection of goods. Great prices ( plus the money goes to helping animals). Friendly staff with good local knowledge.

MAAW is a little gem of a place with some lovely staff the couple of times I've dropped in, with some unique items and books in store like many of the other thrift shops here locally always something unique to be discovered.

We travel to Castlemaine often from Melbourne, and visit this store everytime. Only down side is it's opening hours we have to work around and their furniture is so overpriced and really should be in an antique store.

My favourite op shop. Staff are so friendly, the range of products are amazing from odds and ends to beautiful collectables and antiques. Have bought many favourite things from here over the years.

One of Central Victoria's great success stories is MAAW. Barely three years' old it has been risen from the dust of departure of its previous operator and thanks to the community and volunteers is now growing steadily. The tandem operations of the animal shelter which cares for and rehomed abandoned animals and the entrepreneurial op shop that helps fund its facilities has proven very successful. Great service at both facilities. Take your pick!

Just love MAAW Op Shop. Apart from all the wonderful things they have there including the weird and wonderful the proceeds go directly to their Shelter and all the animals therein.

This place is an Aladdins Cave ..... great staff , well presented . I can't wait to go back again . If you get there before me spend ALL your money as our Furry Friends need it xxx
