Maxi IGA Castlemaine

Excellent with so much choice. Up market products abound. I buy from here to make my own rolls/sandwiches for my weekends at the Daylesford Station Market on every Sunday and the Ballarat Farmers Market bi-monthly. Staff a friendly and helpful too. I camp with no cooking so make do with what I can create!

Very large IGA with a good range of products. Large wide aisles that are easy to navigate. Plenty of parking available.

An exceptional range of fresh and packaged local and imported produce catering to everyone from locals to foodie tourists.

A vast store, easy to navigate, well laid out and super clean.

Excellent service provided at deli counters and offered by staff in store.

With 2 IGA in Castlemaine, this is the one more likely to have what you're after.. I've only recently moved out here, and tbh, this was more like a supermarket you'd expect to find in Melbourne, but with the friendlier country demeanour from the staff.

The room service was incredible. The ensuite. Immaculate. The Parma was a little undercooked, but ultimately, a life-changing experience.

Come here for work, but this day came here for me. Well stocked, staff are always nice and friendly. Found my Pud puddings here for Xmas. They even have a wide selection of foods here where not found in other IGA's.

Fantastic supermarket. Lots of choices both local and overseas. Prices are very reasonable. Produce and meat excellent.

The air-conditioning there works amazingly, so it's always a nice temperature. Also, the range of food they have there is a lot more than most supermarkets. The only downside is, it sometimes takes a while to find what your looking for because there's so much stuff.

Clean and fresh look

Much bigger store than you expect from the outside - huge range of fresh & packaged products. Good old fashioned friendly customer service in a very modern store. There's even underground car parking if it's raining.

Love this iga. Has so much variety and so many quality goods. As big as a main chain supermarket.
