MSY - Auburn

My experience was actually quite pleasant. I ordered all the parts online and then got MSY to assemble and test the PC for me to avoid the hassles. Picked up my custom PC after 4 working days and it’s essentially a plug and play experience. Staff was also very friendly.

Very good and prompt customer service, as you as I wrote regarding the price changes they had contacted me and assured the refund. Never experienced such a high quality customer dealings. Yes I have been customer for these stores Auburn and West Ryde for few years and never had any mistrust. Whatever products I bought had premium service even after warranty. I will spread the word about the store and in future we will buy products from these stores. Once Again thanks and appreciated for for service.

Tran and Jameson were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided me with a quote with in minutes and stayed back after work hours to process the payment etc. Great customer service, smooth experience overall. Highly recommended!

This is my local computer store. Recently I made an order and it was ready to collect soon after. Most items were on sale due to black friday holiday sales. Staff were helpful and no big lines like back in the day when wait times were 30-60 minutes 😄

Good shop for anything relating to computers. Have bought 4 laptops , 1 NUC and peripherals in the last few years. They have good deals and service. Parking in the basement is an additional advantage, side roads next to parramatta road are usually full.

Very satisfied with a low voltage battery vaccum I ordered two days ago. Very good quality product and no problems with delivery.

MSY beats Scorptech anyday. I lost a critical screw when installing a drive, went to Scorptech first, told me no such a screw for sell, and then went to MSY, again, no screw for sell, but MSY mate just gave me a couple for free immediately. That is how you retain customers.

I have picked up my last few computers from the Auburn MSY branch. Always great prices and they even gave me a small discount on a GPU upgrade because the one I was after was not in stock for a system build.
I've found the support really good if you use email. My water cooler was out of store warranty but they still let me bring it in and they ended up swapping it to a large HSF that was brilliant and cost me nothing because the unit was under manufacturer warranty (i think). That PC was already a couple of years old and that kept it going a few more years. The latest PC I got from them is a dream.

It took me a bit of time to find but the staff members were very patient to help me find my mouse and help me place an order. I highly recommend you to go to this place as it is cheap yet good quality

The staff are not salespeople, however, they are extraordinarily helpful and patient IF you come prepared with an idea of what you need.
I have purchased and will continue to purchase from this store. It's a no nuisance shop, quick in and out. Check stock availability online to save yourself hassle. If picking up in store, there is convenient and ample parking. Don't expect the staff to make suggestions, or to tell you what you need, do expect staff to offer helpful input on prices and similar products that they have available.

Great selection at a great price. Have done both a warranty return 3 years on and a return of a faulty product with them, no issues and for the warranty they let me borrow a replacement part as it would take a few weeks. Service is brusque but professional and they know their stuff, they just expect you to as well.

Fantastic customer service and very good advice.
I walked in knowing nothing about PC’s (Mac user) and asked for a very specific PC to be built within my budget. A fella named Allan helped me out and took his time with me, giving me advice and explaining to me the difference between all the parts and the pros and cons.
The build service took 45 minutes, and my new PC was ready to go.

I see other reviews with one and two stars but honestly I personally have nothing but good things to say about this place and especially the fella that helped me out.

This store has come a long way over the years. It used to just be a warehouse with a counter out the front and 30 minute queue leading out the front door. The queue was due to their pricing drastically undercutting the rest of the competition which they could afford due to their setup. Obviously with so many customers to get through customer service was lacking as they just wanted to get rid of you and get on to the next customer as quickly as possible. Things have certainly changed since then as they now have a proper storefront in a mall and a somewhat more modern set up. While their prices are still extreamly competitive, pick up at site online ordering and the increase in staff means every visit I've had lately has been met with friendly helpful enthusiasm and I haven't had to stand in line for more then a minute. I can't comment on their PC repair service, but as far as PC parts stores go I can't think of a better one in the industry at present (2017).

I've avoided using MSY before because of the terrible service I received at their Mt Pritchard store. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received at their Auburn store today. The employee was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful with his recommendations and opinion. We even had a great discussion about upcoming GPUs and he's completely changed my previous opinion of MSY. 👍👍👍

Fast, quick and easy. It's cheap and you get what you pay for.

Though I had 2/10 faulty and even broken parts come in, no pissing around they replace straight away.

I know MSY has a reputation of not having world class service and in my past experience, this has been neutral.

However today one of the tall staff helped an elderly couple to the lift with their printer. He was very patient and insisted that he help them carry the printer so they don't risk injuring themselves.

It didn't happen to me but I feel like this is certainly a 5 star review and worth mentioning.

My go-to store for parts at great prices. The current manager Ray does an excellent job and is the best person they have had at the store to date. He is very knowledgeable and offers great service and advice.

They really do have one of the cheapest prices. Forget mwave. They have bloated prices and stupid sales processes. Not a tech savvy person? Don't know what you want yet? Get a friend to help you canvas what you need. Other than that, you have no business buying components. It will result to frustration anywhere you go. Buy pre-made/complete PCs here or elsewhere you will still have issues if you don't know what you are doing.
