NRMA Charging Station

The DC Fast Charger is located within the Berry Bowling club and offers free charging for electric vehicles. No NRMA membership is currently required for use.

Users are recommended to create an account on the PlugShare app to report if the charging was successful. Occasionally non electric vehicles may park in the space which can easily be rectified by speaking with the Bowling Club management.

My experiences here have been fantastic. When charging, you can go for a walk up the street for a bite to eat or to browse the retail shops along the main street in Berry or enjoy what the Bowling Club has to offer.

1st week being allowed to travel outside Sydney. Great to have the NRMA stations along the coast, with the Berry charger in an easy to access and quiet location.

Very good charging facility. We just need more stations as it's often busy. Australia is just so far behind in this regard it's not funny. Please support the bowling club if you can.

This is a great charger to use and sit and have a coffee whilst waiting. NRMA can u please double capacity with a second station as not enoug in Berry area.

Would be good if the status was networked like ChargeFox and Chargepoint. Use of Plugshare is not common so be prepared for disappointment or a wait.

Started off charging well, but stopped before it was supposed to. Restarted and had the same problem after 15 min. Handy to the bowling club, where you can enjoy something to eat or drink while you wait

A great service offered by the NRMA. Usually only one charging point at each station so if someone is already there, you may need to wait a long time to get on and then do your own charging.

I tried to use the charger 2 days ago but I was not able to charge due to poor mobile coverage in the area. The mynrma app wouldn't load. The next person tried as well but unfortunately she was able to connect either. I hope nrma enables Tap and Go soon. (I'm with telstra)

Charging stopped mid way at 57%. Highly not reliable.

I drove around and around and couldn't find the charger in Berry today. There are no signs anywhere, the GPS in my car didn't seem to know where it was. It took me down the one way street where theThai restaurant is. Some good directions or signs would help.

No luck here today with our Polestar 2. We managed to get it to charge for a few mins then got a network error several times after that. We called NRMA, who tried resetting the unit remotely, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

Easier to find if the Berry Bowling club is mentioned as the station is on the ground of the Club
