LEAF in Nowra

Was told by a local about this place on the way through and so glad we listened. The curry and food in general was very high quality for a very reasonable price. Quick service too!

Chefs from Leaf in Nowra did catering for the day after wedding for us. Every dish was so solicitous and spectacular! They use the house kitchen to cook and serve 25 people on site in Kangaroo Valley.

Thank you very much Chef Ping, Chef George and Chef Tu’ for wonderful meals. Everyone enjoyed all courses and they said your food is simply yet tasteful and beautiful.

Such amazing food. So well named because it Is everything perfect about Asian food.
Only 1/2 hour away from us but first time in a year since we ate here. Never let’s us down, It’s still world class, every dish has you wondering how they got it to taste so good. Today the pork Belly broccoli Chinese stir fry was crazy good. I wonder if it’s just the freshness of the vegetables but that doesn’t explain the pork belly melting in your mouth or the perfect rice.

Craving Asian after days of South Coast fare, we popped into LEAF on the way back to Sydney. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and well-priced dishes hit the spot. While the Thai dishes we tried were authentic, the Singapore Noodles and Malay Laksa had their own spin, but were still tasty.

The quality of food here is really good. I'm an Asian who lives in Newtown NSW (a famous suburb that has heaps of Asian restaurants). I have travelled and ate extensively throughout Asia. The mains are about $20 to $30 - which is reasonable. They're fully licensed - so treat yourself to drink. However, Nowra is a modest country town and locals might find this expensive. If you are on a budget, eat at the Stockland Food Court a few doors down.

We (love) LEAF! The food is always good, the staff are friendly and everyone always seems to be happy to be there eating their favourite dish - great atmosphere. Great online service too, our food is always ready to be picked up and steaming hot. We are regulars and highly recommend to anyone wanting tasty, freshly cooked Asian food.

I am not often rate something 5 stars but definitely rate this place!
Sashimi entry plate super fresh and great combination, variety of testes!
Sushi is pretty everage for me, I would say too much mayo.
Deep fry noodle and beef great flavour. I find some Japanese restaurants stir fry tastes a bit too traditional for me. This is kind of European Japanese which I really like.
I would definitely recommend the place to my boss, big Asian food foodie as curious how he can rate it.
P.S deserts - banana split ice cream is amazing!
Last but not the least - ice cold beer.

Absolutely awesome! My partner and I were the last customers with 30 minutes to close (sorry again for that). We had to have take away because of the late time but that’s perfectly understandable and we didn’t mind.
The staff were all very happy people and were not at all fustrated with us about being late. And the food my goodness is absolutely gold! The flavours and quality is insane! Totally worth it! Genuinely happy customer service and chefs. Thanks a million guys! Well be back! And earlier this time haha

Nice restaurant, lots of parking, dishes come out very quick, nice decoration, have lots of Asian food choices under one store!

Chanced on this restaurant by luck, what a great find. Stayed in local caravan park and wanted a quick and tasty dinner. The food was served in a few minutes and the owner Ping came by our table with helpful advice on sauces and spices. It was great value and delicious and reasonable priced to boot! We'll be back.

We were greeted nicely upon arrival, and the service was quick. Surprisingly good and authentic Pad Thai. The ingredients were fresh — generous amount of chicken, peanuts and bean sprouts. One could taste the tamarind in their Pad Thai sauce... thanks guys we’ll be back!

Wow - really impressed with our meals (some even better than my favourite Thai restaurants in Sydney) and loved that they didn’t hold back on the spice. All dishes were tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. The service was very quick and all staff were lovely and friendly. Will be back again next time we visit the south coast.

Love this place. I usually get takeaway and ask them not to cook the vegetables but to just throw them in at the last minute because I have a long drive home so they will cook on the way!.
The staff are so obliging and kind, the food is always fresh and delicious and I have never been disappointed.
Highly recommend this restaurant.
