Postman's Tavern

We had the lunch special yesterday - rump steak and chicken schnitzel, $14 each and gravy was a $1. They're both great and for the price it was of good quality. I will kindly ask next time for less chicken salt on chips but that's a preference thing. We were welcomed by nice staff and the place was clean.

I have been a regular customer at the Postman's Tavern for the past few months and have taken time to consider my review. I think it's unmatched in its value for money and quality of ingredients. The lunch rump special at $13 with sauce, is an absolute favorite. The staff are very polite and the chef's like Tony and Kyle along with their teams should be very proud of the job they do. Thank you!

Awesome little spot we ran into while going through Nowra. Small quiet place, all the food was fantastic and good prices. Shame we don’t live closer or we would definitely be here quite often. Will 100% pop in when near again.

I had steak n chips n salad the steak/rump was cooked perfect,good atmosphere good service,next time in nowra a will definitely b back highly recommend

It did take a while to get our food but when it came, probably one of the best pub meals I’ve had. I had the pork brisket burger, the brisket was so tender compliments with a great mayo sauce. Chips were nicely salted and crispy as well!

A good place to enjoy bistro style food in Nowra area.
Food serving portion is generous 👍and very tasty too.

Celebrated a quiet birthday lunch 60th ! Staff from moment we stepped in we’re highly attentive very professional great food highly recommended 😃My said to me that we also had my 50th lunch their years ago amazing as it is still as impressive now as it was back then😀

We had dinner here and it was really yum and great value.

The bistro is a little gem in Nowra
Their meat dishes are delicious
Must try.
Also the beer selection is not bad for a country pub.

The staff is amazing and extremely polite and helpful!
The food is also very good and locally baked (such as the nachos and cheesecake).
Happy Hour (3pm-5pm) beer prices are unbeatable!

Nice old pub! Value for money, not over-seasoned

Staff were extremely accommodating, drinks were a fair price and the food was exactly as ordered. Can't fault it.

The 250g Lunchtime Rump Steak with Pepper Gravy & 6 Buffalo Wings with extra hot chilli 🌶 was AMAZING!
Cooked to perfection & tasted TREMENDOUS!!!
The icy cold 🥶 Great Northern Super Crisp 🍺 🍻 was DELICIOUS too.

So good We brought the entire crew back the next day for a late lunch.

Lunchtime on a cold winters day - what’s better than a Portuguese burger and a Philly burger with a $10 margarita and a refreshing Great Northern : magnifique!

The lunch special was awesome. I had 2 pieces of barramundi!! Heaps of chips and salad, for only $11.99.It tasted great.The chef and waitress was very friendly. Great service.
What I cannot understand is, how can a large glass of Merlot cost $15!?!?! and the beautiful huge meal was $11.99.
Won't spend my money on booze there.ever.thats for sure.RIP OFF!!

The girl on lunch duty went above and beyond for my simple snack and coffee milkshake which was much appreciated on a hot day

Great feed, really well priced (have eaten at many pubs, clubs, taverns etc across Aus), good customer service, the old school with actual customer service! Was great! Loved the look of the old timber for the bars. My gran also absolutely loved her meal, stuffed herself silly you may say
