Mornington Inn - Bar, Bistro, Gaming & Accommodation

Don't order a monster schnitzel unless you are starving...I tapped out! Great parmi's, vegetables and mash were superb. Great venue, not my first rodeo here!

Mornington Inn is a fantastic all-in-one destination! The bistro serves delicious food, the bar has a great selection, and the accommodations are comfortable. Plus, there's gaming for added fun. Friendly staff and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

Very surprised to find a pub with good, well priced and delicious food! Hubby and I arrived for an early dinner, and within half an hour, the place was packed. The "Morno" won't bankrupt you, and you'll definitely get a good feed!

Did not stay at the inn. Had a great meal. Portions are fit for a very hungry person. Excellent price and quality. Do highly recommend the shamrock burger. You will not be disappointed.

In a great location, a great place to go for lunch or dinner. Meal prices are very reasonable and the meals are very plentifull...we never have room for their lovely desserts! If you fancy trying to win a few dollars then you can go into the Gaming room and take a chance.
The staff at Mornington Inn are really great and very pleasant to talk to.
Nothing is to much trouble for them.
If you want to enjoy your meal in a lovely clean and happy restaurant then this is the place to go to...

The location is really convenient and central - it's perfect for an extended family dinner as there is plenty of on site parking and it's not too far from anywhere.

The standout has to be the excellent value meals - my highlight has to be the Shamrock burger - it's so big I can get it in my mouth and have to dismantle it first.

The Mornington Hotel is a great pub on Hobart's Eastern Shore and offers very affordable meals and drinks in a well appointed environment. Probably its reputation is its excellent food along with very generous servings! Highly recommend for budget concious patrons!!😁

I was pleasantly surprised by our dine in experience at Mornington Inn prices were very reasonable food was of good quality and portion size and service was very good for a pub meal style bistro.
If I had to make suggestions which would purely be suggestions not criticism would be that the dessert menu should be moved to somewhere more central, and perhaps a couple vegetarian options considering the menu is quite extensive and could easily accommodate this.

The so called manager was rude, abrupt and argumenive. Did not handle a customer enquiry with any class. Rochelle was her name, she laughed at us and was pointing to the staff. She stormed over slammed a refund on the table and said there that's what you wanted. She is common and overly familiar with the front bar patrons. The dining room staff are her friends and her attitude is followed by them. Sad as it's her parents that hold the licence.

Super great service, special mention for Renee. Ordered via uber eats, driver was a tosser and refused to walk back in to pick up a missed meal. Renee was exceptional. I drove up myself to pick up the meal and the service was spectacular. Heated my steak up when I got home and it was perfect. All our other meals were spot on as well
