Ocean Road Motel

We recently stayed here at Ocean Road Motel for a couple of nights whilst visiting Melbourne from Sydney and wanted somewhere along the GOR to stay to allow time to explore and this Motel was just the perfect place to relax, explore & enjoy the amazing view from our room. The staff are amazing and extremely friendly and happy to provide assistance with places to eat & visit during our stay. The bed was super comfy and the amenities, although a little older, were great including the shower which was amazing! Thank you for making our stay a great one & we will certainly be back to stay when back down that way!

Celebrate with my partner in here. Spend one night with ocean view room. The view is Absolutely gorgeous and the receptionist is also friendly and kind to us. Very surprise with a unexpected flower as well. Love it!

Can’t speak highly enough of this place. We were heading out camping only to find our camping spot was taken despite booking, and had travelled for hours. No accommodation available anywhere, until we decided to pull into Ocean Road Motel. 8.30 at night and Paul was so accommodating. He had a last minute cancellation, and happened to have a queen room available. Friendly and helpful, room was so clean, and the views of the ocean cove were just 🤩🤩
Wish we could have stayed another night but unfortunately the motel was fully booked. Will definitely be back again!!

Great Location with lovely views, walking distance to beaches and 5mins to Apollo Bay.
Very Clean Rooms.
Most of all the Staff were very helpfull and friendly, especily Paul who went out of his way to help us. Thank you for a lovely stay. We will definetely come back.

Súper clean room, everything looks new and well taking care of.
Room is very comfortable, blinds are black out so lots of privacy.
The view is awesome you can see the ocean.

We made a great choice choosing to stay here. Planned on staying one night, then we quickly decided to extend our stay to three nights. The location was beautiful, gorgeous view and a sense of isolation (yet town being less than a 10 minute drive away). The man running the place was so warm and accommodating and seemed to be more than happy to help us. He had great knowledge of the local area and was able to let us know what attractions were best in town. We're very much open to the idea of returning again!

Stayed 2 nights on a coach tour from Adelaide along the Great Ocean Road.

This is the best place to enjoy a night or two if you are travelling to Great Ocean Road.

The place is awesome and the most important is the hospitality.

We forgot the name of the lady who manages the motel, but she is on her 70's but she is an amazing property manager.

The rooms have bed heater which gives you peace sleep.

For the breakfast, they have a huge kitchen and specious dinning facilities. Our breakfast was delicious.

The manager played a musical instrument and her dog (Red) was singing the song, an amazing experience.

My entire family is very happy with this place and the place has become highlights of our trip to the great Ocean drive.

One of the best most simplistic motel we’re ever stayed at. Paul and his lovely wife made sure our stay was perfect with a very welcoming space. Words cannot comprehend the hospitality and services provided by the team at Ocean Road Motel. The team provided a gift/refreshments for us with out a mention during our anniversary getaway stay for 2 nights. Love the scenery/cleanliness and the overall vibrant of this location. 10/10 recommendation! Thank you Paul and the team, we will be seeing you again soon,

Beautiful Motel! 2nd time staying here & both times perfect, we have little ones so I thought it would have been difficult but this place proved us wrong. The view, parking, accommodation & the customer service was amazing, seriously no words! Paul you're awesome it's a delight seeing your bright smiling face everything morning even after we locked our key in our room he was kind enough to help us in the middle of the night & unlock the door for us. Biscuit the pupper is adorable & our kids can't get enough of him we will be back hopefully real soon! Thanks again. ☺

The room was spotless ,very clean and comfortable. The pillow was magic and the hostess Paul was very friendly and full of information. Best stay on our travels so far 10/10

This motel certainly exceeed my expectations. Beautiful location directly across from the Ocean. Lots of outside space. Amazing Sunrises and Moon rises. I left feeling so refreshed. Will be back soon Paul.

What a surprise!!!! We stay here for 1 night after a long drive …the owner Paul is really really friendly and helpful, all the staff very respectful and helpful….the location is amazing, mountain view on one side and ocean view on the other side, beautiful spot to watch the sunrise early in the morning and enjoy a massive breakfast cooked in the kitchen by the chef ….room was really really clean and organise, I highly recommend stay here …only 5 minutes drive from Apollo bay !!!

Great location and service. We stayed 1 night here. Lovely customer service. Has heated blanket. Great view of the ocean (ocean view room). The manager waslovely. Made us coffee in the morning free of cost. Highly recommended.

Paul was a great host, we arrived early, it wasn't a problem for him, the apartment was ready, warm, welcoming, had every appliance, gorgeous views, birdlife and sounds of the waves crashing. Looking forward to seeing the dining up and running. Did I mention the views? Stunning :)

Amazing motel in a spectacular location along the Great Ocean Road. The facilities are excellent and the hospitality from Paul and his lovely wife was outstanding. I'd highly recommend staying here and I'll definitely be back again in the future if I'm ever in the area.

Tidy clean rooms with new carpets, amazing views, Paul the manager was very helpful. Highly recommend.

I would rate it 5-stars because of the super strong water pressure of shower.
