Skenes Creek Lodge Motel

I highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting the great ocean road.
The room was very clean, comfortable and the stuff very respectful. The breakfast it was really good. We’ll definitely came back for the next holiday in Summer. Thanks Mr Paul

My partner and I had a weekend getaway here. After seeing some of the other reviews we had concerns. However we had an amazing time, the room had everything we needed (And ocean views). There was absolutely no bedbugs! Or bugs of anykind. the customer service was also great. Especially Joyce who went above expectation to make sure we had the best stay possible.

Thanks Joyce, we'll be back again.

Amazing view. We had an ocean view room and the sunrise over the water in the morning was simply beautiful. The rooms were a little dated but very functional for what we were after. They had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Would have been good for a couple of night stay. Service was friendly and would have not heistiation to stay here again. :)

Most amazing customer service, with staff that making you feel most welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble to request. Views are stunning. Very calm and relaxing environment suitable for couples and families. 💖 Will definitely be regularly returning. Beautiful stay.

Well overdue this review ! Stayed there before COVID with my partner, rooms were immaculate and the wood fire place was such a fantastic bonus! After 3 days we departed and were sent packing with arguably the greatest egg and bacon sandwich you will ever get your hands on! Will be back hopefully over New Years !

We had a wonderful stay and the room was great with friendly service. I have read the other reviews and I nearly didn't stay but I took the chance. My room was very clean no bugs. Maybe the people that gave a poor review made it up to have a free stay I don't know.

This place offers what we need for a night stay- warm clean beds, sheets, hot shower, warm water, heater to keep us warm whole night, amazing sea view at reasonable price (well it's located in popular destination so price is ok). Well rested and very happy. About 5 min drive to area where shops, IGA and restaurants located. I had been indecisive after reading reviews but glad that I made the booking. Long weekend well spent with family. Last minute booking done and no extra charges. Thanks Joyce!

Excellent locations, Great veiws, every meal was sensational. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed also romantic and central to all the great sites. We were trying to find a place along the Great Ocean Road after midnight but so many places were shut or fully booked. The owner woke up and answered the phone at 2am in the morning and stayed up for us to arrive 45mins later. Despite us waking her in the early hours she was absolutely lovely. We decided to stay 2 nights.
We were given a sea view room which was great waking up to in the morning.
The location is excellent for everything we wanted to do on the Great Ocean Road, including the lighthouse, the apostles and waterfalls.
Price was very good value and all amenities are supplied. Comfy beds.
Plenty of parking space for our car too which is always a thing we look out for.
Thank you to the owner for waking up in the early hours and letting us stay - it saved us a night of 4 sleeping in a car! Great way to have ended the last of our journying in Australia.

Great location to be based in. Easy going motel with basics covered. Netflix and morning cooked brekky were the highlights. Staff were very friendly.

The view is really amazing that I didn’t have to go out, I could enjoy in whilst staying in. The owner are very nice.
