Willowhaven Holiday Home Skenes Creek

Absolutely beautiful property! At the time we visited we found that it could've done with some repairs - there were cracked tiles in the living areas and peeling wallpaper in the bedrooms that was off putting. That along with a stovetop that didn't work - although we were promised that the stovetop was being replaced. We were just not fortunate enough to have it replaced before our stay. The bathroom and toilet were far away enough from each other to be inconvenient and if someone largely proportioned were to use the toilet, they would be in quite the spot of bother (it was quite small) Would still recommend it as a place to just unwind, enjoy the gardens and their bountiful fruit trees.

Only visited the gardens which were well presented

I stayed at Willow haven recently and whilst the grounds and gardens were beautiful the house falls short of expectation. No maintenance has been done for a very long time.Quite untidy and unclean,cracked tiles and sink.Windows stuck shut, 1 toilet and 1 bathroom for all guests.Free standing wood fire had 120 ml hole in grate,no ash tray so Coles dropped thru to base,no fire extinguisher found.Tennis court is unusable,no net and unmowed.Bbq also unusable. No wifi or phone reception. It has been a lovely house in its day.
