Mehmaan Indian Cuisine

We had an amazing dinner tonight! The food was fantastic, especially the Pani Puri—it was so refreshing. The Butter Chicken was one of the best we've ever had, and the Garlic Naan Bread was crispy and full of garlic flavor. The Chicken Biryani was also really good. The service was great too—very friendly staff.

One thing to note: the restaurant could be brighter from the outside, but inside, it's beautifully decorated with fancy tables and chairs. We'll definitely be back! :)

Really good food and service! We went in randomly as a group of 5 and had an amazing dine in experience. Loved the ambience and flavours! All the vegetarian curries were great. Dahi puri and desserts were fab as well. Highly recommended for a great dine in experience!! 👍

One should definitely give a try especially afghani Chicken…food here is so good and mouth watering I have ordering and taking away from this place for last 6 and never had a complaint about food…Catering option is also worth to checkout

One of the best Indian restaurants I've been to - totally authentic aromatic dahi puris for starters, juicy chicken tikka masala, tender lamb rogan josh and delicious malai kofta for mains, with perfect basmati rice and fluffy garlic naan to complete the meal. Lovely friendly staff too - I could not fault anything!! I cook Indian food from scratch at home and have found it hard to find a place to eat out that cooks it as well as I do - this is the place!! 👍😄

Yummmm. Have eaten here a few times but seems like they have raised the bar with their Indian food. Still talking about and thinking about the delicious experience at Mehmaan in Hornsby last night! Certainly a memorable experience. Food was delicious. Tried the Chat for entree, which is a cold crispy bowl of flavour and yuminess! The Butter Chicken best I've ever eaten and the sauce yum, mopped up with perfect garlic naan bread. Beef vindaloo with just enough heat although I would suggest smaller chunks would be better. Nice restaurant with nice dimmed lights and ambience and lively accommodating staff. Reasonably priced and will be extremely well fed with no room left for anything else! Highly recommend if you are feeling like Indian food!

Best night out place if u want to feel a bit out of local area in Hornsby.
Very clean and mildly fancy interior. They have mini bar but u can do BYO, $3p pp.
Food is pretty good with simple plating, pretty good portion and tasty.

Lastly, 3 staff served us since the entrance. AMAZING! seriously, they are really good. One waitress even recommended us to consider ordering portion as we might not be able to finish it. She was absolutely right, and she already prepared take away boxes for us.

Really, if u feel going out for nice dinner in good atmosphere, go there! Oh also, price is very reasonable.
2 kids and 2 adults we were full and made 4 takeaway boxes and drinks. We paid approximately $160.

First time eating there today, food was delicious 10/10.

Brought out complimentary food and drink when my order was delayed by 5 mins. Would recommend trying this place out. Really appreciate there service 👍

Amazing stuffs , brilliant food , amazing service!! A must try if your style of dine in is fancy & a lot of space where you can talk loud without being judged. One of the best desi dine in places in Sydney by far a must try!

Friendly new Indian restaurant in Hornsby with authentic cuisine. Open for about a year as of Jan 2022. They lean towards vegetarian and also offer some South Indian Dosa options. The Goan Fish Curry was flavoursome and the fish was firm but not tough. My wife's Paneer curry was subtle and delicious. On the Tuesday night we visited, we were the only customers not of Indian descent (a good sign). The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful and they are licensed.

Recently had our Diwali party with over 50 guests. The food was absolutely brilliant (as always) and the staff were all so helpful.

Mehmaan's owner is one of the few restaurateurs out there who still believes in offering impeccable service and amazing food consistently.

This restaurant is amazing. The food is so good but the customer service is top notch. I will definitely be having food from here again and again delicious. The saag chicken is so good.

A really nice restaurant with nice cozy setting and friendly staff. We went on a Sunday night and was quite busy yet the food came quite fast. Can’t fault the food, tasted great and my kids loved the dishes, except the Biryani which was quite spicy for them (though we ordered medium). So if you’d order biryani, suggest to go with mild. Prices were reasonable too. Definitely will be back.

These guys are truly good hearted people who have a passion for serving beautiful and delicious Indian food! The owner and chef is the most talented and friendly person you could come across. He works tirelessly to make sure everyone in the restaurant feels welcomed and has an enjoyable experience and he always goes above and beyond. The lady who I hear did a lot of the designing of the restaurant (which it is absolutely stunning by the way - well spaced out, lovely vibe and ambient lighting) - she also works tirelessly to make all the customers happy, you can see the love and passion these guys have and it disappoints me to see the negative review above as it’s inaccurate and not fair, the food is delicious, and presented beautifully, great customer service, amazing value and served with a smile and good heart, what more could you ask for! I think given what we have all been through with COVID we need to give small businesses a break, get out there and support them, especially this place... they are working all the hours in a day and have been since this pandemic started and have done amazingly to keep the business going. Unfortunately you can’t please everyone in this world but in my opinion these guys certainly come close, and that negative review is likely a disgruntled competitor I reckon!

We went totally vego last night. Great decision, the food was excellent. And wait staff were lovely. Our guest from India helped us to order; he was very impressed with the high quality. Nice.
