Bunnings Thornleigh

I love any Bunnings! It seems that most girls do 🙂

This one is nice, in that the staff are super helpful and friendly.
A big store but not overwhelming.
Plenty of stock.

I think the lamp section could be a bit more 'groovy'...it's rather standard and dull.

Toilet on site but be aware there are about 6 steps to go up.

4.5 (Up from 3.4) - Visited today and they have put more energy into the Nursery and Indoor plant area!! Very happy with the selections and choices! Last time, I thought it was like every other Bunnings but the vibe is a lot more messy but I didn't mind the chaos today cos I found heaps of good, recently watered plants. (There's a place out the back that is where they do all the off-cuts of Timber.)

Love Bunnings. While products are great, staff doesn't hesitate to help with right advise. No forced sell. They have great ethics and accept return without any fuss especially when product is faculty

Have to report great support from the Tool Shop today. I bought a rather fancy Fatmax Stanley knife, but when I got it home made a mistake inserting the blade, so that it got stuck inside the device. So I took it back and asked for help from Daniel (I think that was his name - tall, fair hair) at the Tool Shop. Well, opening up the knife to remove the blade was like solving a fiendish Chinese puzzle, and he fiddled with it for about 15 minutes before he could get the blade out and reposition it properly. Then he made sure I knew how to remove and install a blade correctly. Couldn’t ask for better service than that.

Well layout store will just about all you need .

This is my favourite Bunnings. The nearby Pymble store is much bigger, but the staff are much much better here (I'm sure there are lots of good staff at Pymble, but there are too many not so good staff there). Staff here are knowledgeable and willing to help. I was after a particular item one day that was not in stock so a staff member who lived on the Central Coast picked it up from a store near here home and transferred it to Thornliegh. I never asked for that so was really appreciative of what she did.

How could any man, give less than 5 stars for visit to our favourite place !

I traded in 2 Old 18 V 🔋 Makita batteries with New twin packs and got $50 off each. They didn’t have charge indicator and nothing more painful than running out of battery when you are on 🪜ladder.

Friendly staff and good service.
Outside parking is not big, but there is a decent underground parking, which is nice during the rain. Dog friendly!

Not as big as most stores but has most off the things you need.
Trade driveway is only small and gets easily congested.
Still a great store really good nursery

All good as advertised fast and easy parking and shopping.

This place could be busier during weekends. Not as crowded as before during weekends when Bunnings in Pymble was the Bunnings in Gordon. You better check online and/or call for stock availability before heading to this store. Many items are not always available. But it is always convenient to shop here.

Best items in the store in a good price.
I recently bought water fountain with lord of peace: Buddha and multi function table lamb.
