Excellent experience tasting very high quality sparkling wines. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the experience was very memorable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people to come here

A visit to Deviation Road is always spectacular. The sparkling wines created by Kate Laurie are some of Australia’s best, and the gardens and grounds make you feel like you are world’s away while being so close to the city. The hospitality is super welcoming, and the team has a great knowledge of the wines, and the places to go and see in the region. Make a plan to go, just give yourself plenty of time as you won’t want to leave!

Reasonably good experience. Essentially a cellar door for Sparkling wines. This seems to be the specialty here. I did the flight and had some tasty cheese and bruschetta.

There are other wines. But I feel the focus is on the style born out of the region of Champagne in my France.

Looks like they can do wood oven pizza also, maybe reserved for events.

Great gardens and location..
I enjoyed the education and took a few bottles home.

Our new local winery! We were looking for a low key afternoon glass of wine and a small platter to share and we were not disappointed! Lovely wines, knowledgeable staff, great location and a perfectly balanced share platter. We will go back (even with the kids, they can run and play on the grass area!)

Stopped in after work one Sunday afternoon, and had a really good experience. It was not too busy, had an offer of inside or outside table to sit at which was nice. The wine tasting had 4 wines and was a generous size pour. The menu was great for a grazing situation, not sure it would be good for a lunch. Food came out in a reasonable time and was all delicious.

A serene cellar door tucked in local bushland yet only 5 minutes from Stirling. Sprawling indoor & outdoor seating options so you are not on top of other people. Delightful gourmet platter (pictured) with Gluten free & Vegetarian options. Quality wines but not an overwhelming selection. Knowledgeable & polite staff. A superb place to spend an afternoon.

Deviation Road is definitely my type of winery being boutique and with a focus on quality not quantity. We enjoyed a great couple of hours tasting wines and enjoying the food. Sitting outside under the tree on a beautiful sunny day is a great option. It’s stunning looking over the vines and gardens. You can taste wine from the vines that you can see. It was also perfect for our little cavoodle who loved the opportunity to sniff around. I recommend doing the wine flight. You get to taste 4 wines for $20. I enjoyed all of the wines in the flight plus the follow up glass of Mary’s Reserve Shiraz. The wine was complimented by a cheese and charcuterie board, bruschetta and superb Arancini balls. We had the pleasure of being served by one of the wine making team (Morgan) who was very informative and nice. You can whip in and taste the wines if you want but this place deserves more time. Make it a one stop trip and enjoy Adelaide Hills wine at its best. If you like also join the Sabre Club which also offers a discount on the food and drinks for the day.

Lovely birthday celebration on a wintery Sunday afternoon, outside as we had a dog with us. Excellent customer service in the lead up to the day. They lit a brazier and left blankets for us so it was warm and so beautiful at our big table. Delicious platters and magnificent sparkling. Friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived we could tell this was a special winery. The staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and thorough with their descriptions of both the wines and the processes used to create them.

I did a Sparkling flight, and every wine was delicious, and each had its own unique profile.

The location was absolutely stunning. We are very glad we visited.

Fantastic venue with amazing wines. They're known for the sparkling made in the traditional champagne method but we were surprised by how great their other wines were too. Dog friendly, great outdoor space and lovely staff. Couldn't ask for more.

Beautiful vineyard and cellar door that has gone from strength to strength with a great selection of wines, platters, and a menu of nibbles.

Very family friendly setting with lots of space for kids.

Try the Ironbank Shiraz, a personal favourite!

Had a nice day here on Sunday. Fire was lit, perfect in the cold rainy weather. The $20 wine flight is well organised, generous and poured in one go so you can drink at your own pace. Food was yummy and refreshingly cheap, if a bit small in servings. Especially liked their sparkling and whites. Service also faultless. cheers
