Hill Street Grocer New Town

I absolutely love this store!. Great gourmets , food and drinks variety are amazing!!!. Has best fresh vegetables! as well!. I go here more than I go to supermarkets!.

The staff have such wonderful wonderful customer service!!!!. This place is an asset to New Town, North Hobart and all around it.

Very small store but excellent variety. Love the salad and pre-prepared food options. Small parking lot with short parking but really it is enough time to get in and out. Staff at front were wonderfully helpful and friendly.

Convenient store on main road with Porter's liquor store next door. Baked goods, fresh fruit and vegetables, delicatessen n grocery items. Parking out front.

Staff at this location are honestly great, produce has always been super fresh and the deli always has a great assortment of stuff. Honestly couldn’t really fault the place

Always fresh, so much packed into one place, Sells the best bread and has an excellent delicatessen. Wish there was one in Port Macquarie!

How good is Hill Street Grocer in Tassie. I have lived in all states in Australia, and nowhere can you find a boutique grocer like Hill Street. On the way past after giving some driving lessons I had a hankering for some pastry which they always have a great range of. The New Town store is amazing. The setout is just mind blowing. I got what I was after, yum. I go to three different stores around Hobart. They are all different but they all have the same high standards in common. I love Hill Street.

Hill street the one supermarket I can really call home. the shelves are stacked with the freshest goods, the meat section is filled with only the best quality meats, the staff are always kind, the aroma of the deli wafts across the store, and lastly the location is of the highest level of convenience. definitely the best grocer in all of Hobart. No, all of Tasmania. No, all of Australia. I definitely recommend this fine establishment to all tourists and locals alike.

Reasonable prices good quality food.

The store has many items of groceries,from toothpicks to meat and in between. Service was quick and the staff spot on. I recommend this place.

Dec 2021. Hill Street New Town, built atop a former service station, is the place to locate your everyday groceries, or to source a particular item(s) for a special occasion. I guess my only gripe for this store is that it's too small and the carpark almost never has a space. (all stores have this issue) Luckily they employ parking attendants when it's busy. Well played.

Excellent deli with a wonderful array of bread, cheeses, salads and fruit and veg. If you're staying in a B&B near here, be sure to stock up on lunch things. There's a good wine shop next door as well.

My local, always the most lovely staff and mostly sells produce that I want to cook. The vegetables are much fresher than the large supermarket chain stores Woollies and Coles. The veg last alot longer in my fridge and fruit bowl, this is very good for lack of wastage and I like knowing my family get the nutrition still within the fresh produce. I hate old food!

Great lil supermarket. Not badly priced on most things. I usuay shop here everyday especially for their fruit cups:)

A great Hobartian institution! Hill Street is the best supermarket I've been in, from the excellent range of cheeses, fantastic fresh fruit and veg, amazing deli, local fresh baked bread, cakes, coffee... it has everything you need and in the best quality for great prices. It is always the first place I go to buy the stuff I need.

Always clean and friendly. Nothing is too much for them, if they can help they will and love that they will bring groceries to the car for you also. Very much appreciated. Great staff every time!!! Thankyou for all that you do.
