Great takeaway food store. Went there today and I wanted to order everything on the menu.
Obviously could not do that so settled for some fried dim sims and potato cakes.
Got thrown a free jalapeno popper.
Popper was great and the dim sims and potato cakes were cooked as they should be.
Look forward to going back and trying a few more food items on the menu.

New owners have completely changed up the place, best thin potato cakes in Ballarat super crunchy, burgers are a decent size had it for lunch and I'm back for dinner, highly recommend!

I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of chips at this joint! It seems that they are the only ones in the world who take the time to prepare fresh-cut chips, and their commitment to sourcing ingredients from local farmers in the area is commendable. In addition, the fish is notably fresh and perfectly cooked, with a delightful crunch on the exterior and tender flesh on the interior. I will undoubtedly be making a return visit in the future!

Went in here because I was craving chicken and noticed on their Facebook they are doing Parma packs. Wow. They were beautifully cooked and truly great value for money. If you have been on the fence about trying the new food, definitely get in and have a go

I got the big 4 / 4 burger. It was made by the owner himself and honestly it was amazing.
And at a really great price for how huge it is. Will 100% be back for another one

Ignore the 1 star reviews, sure the food may take longer to be cooked compared to other joints, however the fish was absolutely beautiful and fresh as well as the chips, I really don’t mind the waiting time if everything is cooked perfectly to order

This place is the best! Usually I avoid this area but I got takeaway and decided to go here, the staff were so friendly and nice and even wrote a letter on my burger box, will be returning!!

Love everything about them, great food friendly staff extremely affordable and did I mention how amazing the food is? My partner says the the lamb souvlaki while a little loose tasted great, their words were “saucy with a bit of a kick to it with really fresh ingredients” I will definitely be going back again.

Best fish and chips we have had in so long. We got the pack for 4 and it was definitely great value for money, heaps of chips, yummy potato cakes , the fish was amazing as were the dim sims. We will definitely be back.

The place is great, new management and great customer service Was even told there is going to be extra desserts on the menus with different weekly specials.

Walk in to friendly staff, made my order with recommendations from the staff. Did not disappoint. Have found our local fish and chip shop

The team at Scorch'z are phenomenal. The chips and potato cakes are divine, and the fact that on Good Friday when they were swamped with customers they managed to get orders out the door incredibly quickly and at their high standard of food quality - I was surprised to have an order placed for pick up at 6pm, and left at 6:45 - which on good friday is a pretty fantastic effort.

Great job Scorch'z. We'll be back!

Best fish and chips iv had in a long time. Next time I’m down from Queensland I’ll be back. Try this place you won’t be disappointed.

We had fish and chips last night and it was amazing. The new fish is very jucy but still crunchy on the outside, also we definitely recommend the new skinless hotdogs. The chips were also nice they were nice and crunchy not soggy like other fish shops. I will only be going to this fish shop from now on. Thank you to the team for an amazing meal for my family😀

Our second visit that didn't disappoint. We travelled 30 minutes to buy another hamburger... well worth the trip. Staff are friendly and genuinelly eager to please. Definitely recommend the crunchy chips too.

Dinner was amazing fish burger was perfect. Also gave us a complementary 1.25 Pepsi. Got it delivered was quick and fresh very impressed
