Bass Strait Bait & Tackle Lakes Entrance

Not the first time Frank was so helpful when I called leading up to our long weekend at Lakes, and with his advice on our arrival, that had us changing tactics somewhat. His tips got us on to stacks of bream and the marauding tailor and we had a fabulous few days.

The guy working in there over the weekend knew his stuff! Great knowledge and a super cute dog to pat while you chat. Best tackle shop in town by far.

Ventured down here as an amateur fisherman, got first class service from young Ty. It goes a long way when people are prepared to take the time to listen to your needs and offer great advice. Would go back here any day as this place has genuine service. Hooked 3 salmon within hours of visiting the store.

friendly staff/owner. we can ask, ask for opinions on what we should prepare before fishing and any questions about fish/crabs. price.... not too expensive from other shops outside this area, in fact there are cheaper items from shops in dandenong lol!!!!!!!!

Great local knowledge and heaps of products. It was an old fishing tackle store that was closed for a while. I bought my first ever lure there over 20 years ago. I was so glad to see it open again. I bought a few lures and though I paid a bit overs due to the location etc. I later googled them on line and the prices were spot on. Well worth a stop and a purchase!!!
