First time in Lake Entrance. It was the most beautiful morning with this nice breakfast at Funkey Monkey Cafe. The staff was very patient for my complicated order and the barista made the perfect coffee. It was really appreciated the eggs were hard poached as requested. When they came with the crispy bacon and sourdough, they made my day.

Great service and prices, loved the sweet potato fritter- poached eggs were done to perfection, feta and dukkah tasted so good with it. Celery, apple, ginger and orange juice was yummy too. Would definitely recommend.

Nice and tasty breakfast, good plate design. Tasty coffee, no good chai latte, reasonable price, friendly staff.

Friendly service and food were great and good portion, reasonably priced, given in a prime location. I really enjoyed the pulled pork Benedict and wife liked the chicken burger. Will be back when I am in Lakes Entrance!

Amazing food and super friendly staff! On holiday from Singapore, came by for breakfast during our stop at Lakes Entrance and was so amazed by the beautiful food presentation! French toast with generous servings, topped with whipped cream and ice cream! Sweet potato fritters with avocados and eggs, yummy! Drinks were served hot and delicious! Superb service, wonderful space 🫶

A friend recommended this place and we decided to start our day with brunch at this cafe. Food was really good. The southern fried chicken burger was really tasty! Staff were very friendly and lovely. The town's essence came through in this cosy little cafe.

Just had the best breakfast of our holiday so far at this unassuming cafe in Lakes Entrance! Poached eggs on smashed avocado and a sweet potato fritter. Yummy!

Fabulous brunch, we had the southern chicken burger and eggs Benedict, we almost lost faith in Lake entrance but were lucky to find this good place to eat!

Stayed a week in Lakes so had a chance to try a few breakfast and lunch places but next time we visit we will just go to Funkey Monkey.
In our opinion it was the best coffee, the best food, and the best vibe.
While all the food we had was amazing, if you like a light and delicious muffin don't miss the Funkey Monkey's house made muffins - sensational.

Fast and friendly service! Big serving size! The scrambled eggs were to die for creamy milky flavours but still held together. Hash brown were light and crispy. Coffee was very good, great temperature. Indoor and outdoor seating

Very busy holiday period but our food still come out quickly. Chips serving is very generous. All the burgers were awesome and very filling. Highly recommend. Bathroom is available around the back of the cafe on request

The breakfast here is exceptional! The flavors are authentic, and the quality of the ingredients truly shines through. What makes the experience even better is the incredibly friendly staff.

Got a takeaway coffee from here. Unfortunately they no longer have açai bowls but the staff were friendly and the coffee was good.

Wow, what a flavour sensation, chili scrambled eggs with beetroot brioche was off the chart. Highly recommend! Kids had waffles which were demolished in minutes too! Had to go tell the chef it was excellent.

It was the second time we had been there. After about 6 months it was really worth a re visit. Lovely coffee. Great chili scramble. Lovely service and people. By far the best breakfast and coffee that we have had in Lakes Entrance. Thank you.

Wow... I can honestly say this is the best brunch I've ever had! The" super smash" just danced in my mouth, so many different taste sensations on a plate! Cafes in nth Queensland could learn from this plate!

WOW! The reviews aren’t wrong. Chilli Scrambled Eggs were amazing. Good coffee and prompt service. Dog friendly. What’s not to like!
