The location is great! It's right in the harbour.

We had the Chef's section 4 course menu for $85 each. It was absolutely amazing, really fresh beautifully presented locally sourced seafood.

The service was also very good; helpful, friendly, knowledgable staff.

My only suggestion is, to have white tablecloths. It would lift the atmosphere to a restaurant level, where as now, it feels more like a cafe.

Absolutely divine food; would recommend Sodafish to anyone! Seafood was so fresh – some of the best I've had in Gippsland. Great service, too. A little pricey but worth it overall.

Thoroughly enjoyed this lunch, excellent burnt butter!! Curry a little strong and sweet. Lovely dining (my partner was not very adventurous but his Fish and Chips were very fresh also.

This restaurant sits on the water and you won't miss it from the main road in Lakes Entrance. We visited this place for a late lunch, and we sat in the covered side of the restaurant. The menu was not big, but it had plenty of options available, including a feed me option. We ordered a gummy shark fish, a dory fish, and a sirloin steak, all to share. The taste was all on point and kept us very quiet while eating. I would definitely recommend this place if you in town.

What an amazing place for seafood in Lake's Entrance! We had the seafood degustation with matched wines and it was great to hear our waiter actually knew which of the many fishing boats moored alongside had provided our meal. It doesn't get fresher, better or lower food miles than that.

Can't fault the staff they were exceptional. Food was devine, but only disappointment was getting bones and scales in my fish, but when I talked to staff, they handled it perfectly. Will definitely go again when we are down that way. I would recommend booking as they had to turn people away the night we were there.

Food was really good imo. The portion was just right, i think the chef has done great with their tastings and pairings of the ingredients. The service was great, the ladies that waited our table werent above and beyond but I couldnt fault them, explained the menu well. It wasnt crowded as we were there during lunch time but overall it was a 5 star experience for me. 😊 thank you for a great meal. I would return if I happen to do another roadtrip!

I couldn’t decide where to eat and was wandering past this lovely place, so glad I stopped by. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and even got caught up chatting with the locals. Its magical setting on the waterfront is truly an experience in itself but the amazing food that came with it was sensational. I don’t normally eat seafood but every dish was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed every bit. I would love to go back again one day as I was only travelling through but certainly was a highlight ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Can't beat the atmosphere on the outside deck. Octopus was excellent and the roasted gummy shark was tender but a bit bland. Cold beer and decent service make this a great place for a summer lunch

One of the best Fish‘n‘Chips I had so far. Extremely fresh, high-quality ingredients and the prawn pasta was also very tasty with an intense fresh prawn taste!

We did the tasting menu. Super fresh ingredients, creative menu. My favorite is the squid risotto: showcasing the chef’s sophistication in balancing the flavors. The King Gorge Whiting is beautifully crisped which is a great contrast to the tender white flesh. The humble burned pumpkins are beautifully cooked with a kick from the sauce … … Thanks Chef Luke!

Our family had a wonderful lunch at Sodafish overlooking the lake and fishing trawlers. We decided to share a selection of dishes and not one of us were disappointed with any of them. All the meals were locally sourced, fresh and tasty - from the delicate scallops to the crispy traditional battered fish and chips. Happy to recommend Sodafish to any of my family and friends.

Experienced the taste of sodafish which was 5 courses of the freshest beautiful seafood.

If you are after a night for a special occasion or looking to impress someone. Sodafish is the place to visit. Perfectly situated on the water, it's the best spot of a fine dining experience with a sunset view.

Highly recommend the chef's selection. You get to taste multiple dishes and can even pair everything with wine. Food is delicate and delicious!

We visited as a family and had a wonderful meal. Something for everyone including a sensational seafood degustation and a tremendous rib eye.
Staff were attentive and helpful. Very respectful of my children’s highly developed palates. Tables a little crowded in but not noisy. Stunning sunset view. Really appreciated the local knowledge on food origins (though this wasn’t presented by every staff member unfortunately). Comprehensive wine list

A great experience here with nice views and amazing food.

Although the wait staff got one of our orders wrong, the manager was very apologetic on multiple occasions and fixed the situation quickly as well as offering complimentary drinks or desserts, which wasn’t necessary but goes to show they really look after their patrons.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend people to visit here for a nice meal.

To be honest is consider a good value with the local seafood.
The scallop, oyster, fish, steak. And not buyer even char asparagus is taste so good 😆

Will definitely come back for different season, so we could see the chef creation in the food.

One last we didn't book and the staff very friend and try to squeeze us in for waking customer.

For a night to spoil yourself try Sodafish. I had the chefs suggestion menu at $85, worth every cent. I paired it with a Tambo Valley Chardonnay, but you can have chef pairings.
The food exceptional, hard to say what was outstanding but for the adventurous the whitefish tartar and certainly the burnt butter with bread quite different.
Dining on your own can be quite daunting but the staff were attentive, the service was well paced and there was no essence of being rushed

First time dining at Soda fish and I can’t recommend enough! Seafood was fresh and delicious. We had the chefs menu highly recommend as you try new things, all of the food was amazing. we also paired with wines which were matched perfectly. Also baby friendly. the staff were all friendly we will definitely be back.
