Shelly Beach Surf Club

My lunch at Shelly Beach Surf Club was great. The food was amazing!
Being Coeliac often limits my options but I was pleasantly surprised.
The view overlooking Shelly Beach is fabulous and I was lucky enough to enjoy eating at a table on the balcony. The sea breeze on a very hot day was so welcome.

Really Good food, really nice view, a bit slow on serving time but the food was totally worth it. The portion of each dish was generous, it would take 4 people to finish the 3 dishes. Highly recommended!

Classic dishes done well.

Fries and mushroom sauce were a banger.

So good we went back again the next night

Really lovely and welcoming place to eat. Food was beautifully presented and wait staff attentive and polite.

We had the seafood platter for two. It had beautiful fresh seafood, oysters, muscles, king prawns, balmain bugs, and a selection of cooked seafood.

I would definitely recommend for a no nonsense and pleasant meal.

Celebrated a Christmas get together/combined birthday lunch here. Top atmosphere with a great outlook to the ocean at Shelly Beach. Excellent meals, great service, thoroughly enjoyable. Can recommend, will be back.

Magic spot to have lunch and look out at the ocean. Food is always delicious and there is a decent amount of things to choose from on the menu. Recommend you call ahead and reserve a table if you are going on the weekend as it gets busy.

What a great find, great location at the surf club by the beach lovely on a sunny day . Good menu and friendly staff.
And the prices- $2.50 for a tea , the best value I have ever come across.

The service was really nice here, we really enjoyed the seafood platter for two. It has generous portions and everything was fresh and delicious! Can't beat the view from the balcony. Perfect date spot.

Enjoy going every weekend with our furbaby. It's so dog friendly with water bowls supplied. Whale watching is great at the moment. Cafe has the best coffee & meals. Highly recommended.

The Balcony restaurant was very good, service was good, views over the beach were great, but I know we were there in the holidays after ordering we had to wait over a hour for our food to start arriving, but in the end food was perfect,

Have been here many times, never had a bad meal, service is functional, view and setting is fantastic. Parking can be a pain.

The cold seafood platter was fresh and delish. Highly recommend some bread with it or you'll eat your partners fettuccine. Drinks were cheap and price of food was very reasonable. Would definitely go back.

Was busy Sunday morning, obviously popular with the locals (many families, with bikes & scooters); so swimmers as it's above flagged/patrolled beach. There was a queue for the coffee/cake shop. A great walk winds kilometres going south, adjacent the seaside headland. Plenty of free parking all along this (can drop off strong walkers in your group, & then drive to meet up, down the track.

Our group of 8 had lunch here a few weeks ago. I had the pesto chicken and it was delicious. The hot seafood plate was also very tasty, not greasy.

Beautiful views with excellent food at great prices. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful beach with lots of great facilities there. Kids do nippers there and can't talk highly enough about the people that work/volunteer there. Only bad thing I can think of is the rubbish left around there.
