I really enjoyed the relaxing vibe of this place. Along with a playground and water play area, there is plenty of space to sit and enjoy the waterfront. There are some rides for the kids as well. Pelicans are spectacular to watch. Parking and rest rooms are plenty.

Excellent family area with rides, playground, a kids splash fountain and pelican feeding demonstrations daily. A great way to spend a nice day.

Lots of cafes and restaurants, read reviews first as the food is hit and miss.

Free parking lots x 2 surrounding the location.

This place never gets old. The eateries, the ocean, the view. Chill under a shady tree or take a walk in the sun near the waters edge in Memorial Park while eating a Ken's Humble Pie. I highly recommend!!

Having visited many times over the past 20 years, I still love the entrance foreshore. Although pelican feeds are suspended during covid, there is so much to see and do. Make sure you check out the cafes, Ken's humble pie shop, bistro Jinja and walk across the bridge. Magenta shores is a nice visit as well.

Great playground with so many activities for kids. Normally my 2 years old can only play some of the games in regular playgrounds. but with this one, she can play so many. I think the design are pretty good. Games are close knit but in good lay out. And seems like they are in good maintenance. So kudos to great work from the council.

It was quite cloudy on the day we visited. But we were lucky to enjoy a nice view of the entrance water colour

Fantastic place to be. I took my elderly parents here, and this park had everything needed for everyone to have a great tourist experience. Toilets, cafes, large maintained grassed area, array of shops and food outlets, great cement path by the water, bird life, tables and seating shade and sun, kids water park, disability parking and a sense of safety throughout the entire area. Perfect for families, and / or personal relax time.

Great open space. Lovely fenced playground for kids. Easy access to the beach. Lots of pelicans and seagulls around to entertain the kids. Public toilets are ok. They are very dark and Dungey. But they are usually fairly clean so that's a bonus. Plenty of places to buy food ect. Nice walking track.

This place is a must visit with family and kids. Amazing scenic views and plenty of things to do. For the kids there's quite a big play area and plenty of 'adventure rides' if I may call it. A water fountain play area for the kids plus a small train that runs through the park. Pelican feeding is an added attraction. BBQ and toilet facilities are there. Parking may be a bit of challenge on a weekend but finally managed to get one. Very surprised this place isn't talked/ marketed much. To sum up, below is my daughter's pouty face when it was time to leave. She loved it and we'll definitely be coming here again.
