Gracie Barra Penrith

I join GB Penrith in January 2023...I was a bit nervous at first. But Professor Jason said I could come for a few free sessions to see if I like it. I was convinced after the 1st visit that this is the place where I.would train. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. No egos.

Professor Jason makes sure everyone respects each other as their training partner...the focus is always on safety and not to hurt or get hurt. It's a tough sport but good leadership and supervision from the Professor ensures everyone goes home injury free after each session.

Oh, by the way...I am 64+ and really enjoy the training and sparring.

Highly recommended. Anyone can do it.

Professor Jason is an amazing BJJ instructor and mentor. His care for all team members is nothing I've ever experienced. The members of GB Penrith are all here for each other to feel comfortable, safe and enjoy the journey of learning BJJ.

I’ve been training at Gracie Barra Penrith for about 1 year now and it has been life changing for my health and fitness. Professor Jason is building a great culture at this gym and stands by the motto “Jiu Jitsu for Everyone”. I’ve felt welcomed since day one and still do to this day. It’s always good seeing new faces so I’d recommend anyone who wants to learn some new skills to come and give it a go.

The best and most friendly gym/dojo I've been to in 20 years. Professor Jason is professional and technical, and goes above and beyond. The other students made me feel welcome from day 1. My 3 kids train there too and enjoy it so much they complain if we have a day off. I wish I started here earlier. 100% would recommend.

As a female it can be intimidating to step into a martial art for the first time, but the friendly and supportive members have made me feel so comfortable and welcome.
