Hudson Mitre 10 Trade Centre Penrith

There is a good range of hardware at Hudson, seem to cater more for the tradie rather than the home handyman, first time I've been here in quite a while but I like it, easy browsing and helpful staff too.

Highly recommended store. My partner and I are in the middle of home renovations, and with the help of all the staff and management and the extensive knowledge we were able to get everything we needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they had everything we needed. Will definitely be returning to this store for all our needs.

The service here is phenomenal. A older gentlemen (don’t know his name) literally went above and beyond in helping me out. If you want solid customer service this place is the way to go.

Can't fault the service I recieved here. I was treated with patience and a smile and everything I needed to know about caring for my new spa with what chemicals was explained.What they couldn't order in they let me know where I could get it from. Highly reccomend.

I was recently looking for a new timber supplier and whilst this location has a great range of timber and hardware supplies I manage to spend about 20 minutes in the store without being approached by any of the team members. At the time I arrived it was about 3:30 pm in the afternoon and the two members that were working at the time were too busy discussing the income in award increases. Although the store seems to have a decent enough range it was rather disappointing that I manage to walk past a few team members on multiple occasions and not be acknowledged.

Supposedly had low stock of an item I needed according to a google search. Rang store to double check had stock. Told there were three in stock so drove 25km to purchase one but only to find there was a stocktake error and there weren't any. The stocktake error is caused by incompetence keeping stock records and is likely an indication of poor incompetent management. No wonder this company is going extent.

Great price. But beware when buying online. Stated stock in Penrith store- bought 9/4, free delivery. Not delivered by 19/4 so I phoned up and spoke with Alison at Penrith store. She was totally unhelpful. “Yeah, you’ll just have to wait” wait for what? “There’s none in store, we oversold, we have none on back order” she then told me it would be June!!! I phoned head office who were sympathetic and did what they could… magically one appeared the next day even though Alison told me it would be months. Delivery guy was really good though.

Wouldnt know how to operate a proper service to the building industry. Dont bother.. peace is a mess and the customer service is obsolete.

Beware! There's been a covid case here. No one wearing masks, customers enter without mask and don't QR. Filthy!
