Came around 7pm on Tuesday. Extremely crowded and lots of people waiting to be seated and for orders. We waited for a bit to be seated. Luckily, we're a small group, so it was faster. A larger group that came before us was still waiting around. Food took some time to arrive, but it was extremely tasty! Will definitely come back again.

The interior design, atmosphere, food, everything was perfect!

Definitely the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Portion size was huge and it tasted amazing! Unique interior with rustic look. We went there on a Saturday night and it was very lively. Food presentation wasn’t very sophisticated . It was more like Street style with authentic taste! I’ll definitely visit again the next time I’m in Newcastle!

Funky little Mexican restaurant that obviously really cares about what they are preparing.

The menu is extensive, and has a lot of traditional Mexican offerings that are hard to find here in Australia. The food was more of what you would find in a local Mexican restaurant - they just do it people like, and they do it really well!

The venue is awesome, reminds me of a Mexican chop shop in a warehouse somewhere in Tijuana. We came midday on a Monday but I am sure this place is pumping on a weekend.

If you're in the area, definitely go!! The prices are fair and the servings are generous. I have never received an order of guacamole, or Plato this generous for the price. Great value for money and your tummy will thank you too!!

Fantastic mexican food. The carnitas nachos are so so good, and even just the basic chips with guac are incredible. The tortilla chips appear to be cooked for your order, they come out fresh and warm, NEVER stale. Amazing.

Fantastic food, especially the quesadilla and fish tacos! Always good to wash down with the frozen margarita. Otherwise, you have to order at the bar yourself, the places pretty grungy and the toilets are questionable, but it doesn’t deter locals. Definitely one of my favourite Mexicans in Newcastle!!

Good tasting Mexican. Atmosphere is relaxed and exactly what you expect. Mexican is generally the common persons food. It doesn’t need to be sophisticated and these guys do it well. My only comment is the tacos were a little soggy and weren’t able to be picked up. The Michelda was yum. I visit this place every time in Newcastle. I do visit this place every Newcastle trip

Tacos were amazing ! Tried (best to least best) pork, beef, fish and chicken tacos. Even though chicken was my least favourite it was still amazing.

In particular the pork was tender, moist and juicy and made a delicious taco. I though it was amazing value at 3 for 18 dollars.

The drinks were fun and refreshing and I really liked the variety of hot sauces available for the customers to add to the tacos.

Would definitely return!

Oh my goodness. Seriously the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Fresh and full of flavour. So so delicious !!!! The restaurant has a great vibe and menu. My only tip, is try to have a calmer/joyful demeanor when greeting customers at the door, which is easier said than done when you are so busy. I felt stressed on entry because the waitress seemed stressed trying to please the line. Totally understand why you are so busy now that I’ve tasted your food!!!

Was very busy on Saturday night, had to wait for a table but they got us in table of two in under 5 mins. Atmosphere is great and the food was fantastic will give back again for sure. The staff were great and very accommodating. Was nothing negative I could write about our experience. This place is also very kid friendly and we plan to take ours the next time we visit. 5 out of 5 stars.

Arrive 5.30pm Friday. Food was great, good selection for vegetarian and meat eaters. Didn’t take long to get the food. Pay at the counter and order type establishment so not much in the way of service. Music wasn’t so on point, would have enjoyed a Mexican vibe more than current commercial music.

I was walking to get some dinner and was instantly pulled in by the smell of this place. We were greeted by a you g lady wearing glasses and through her recommendation ordered pork nachos and a beer. I was blown away by the authenticity of this place i felt like i was eating in mexico, fresh,filling and full of flavour.

This was by far the best Mexican food I've had. I had the nachos with guacamole, beautiful and crispy chips. Followed up with a pork burrito, also delicious and flavourful, with a good mixed filling. Every bit was perfect. I'd recommend adding their hot sauces, they're mild and go really well.
I followed this up with 3 tacos, pork and beef, and a fish. All were great. The fish was crispy battered and tasted fresh.

Overall a 10/10 experience

Hear ye, hear ye, You cannot go wrong getting food here! I don't even know how to begin to describe how awesomely delicious it is! I thought I knew Mexican food, apparently not... I am totally hooked! Keep it up!!

Yummy Mexican food! My husband is very picky with his Mexican food cause he was spoiled by the choices while studying in the US. But antojitos made it to his "saved" list!

I ordered the mulitas which I thoroughly enjoyed! They managed to get the cheese super crispy around the edge!

Husband ordered the Plato's which he smashed as well!

We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again!

Awesome Mexican! Service and food has always been amazing. I thought I’d read the reviews just out of curiosity, and really love that the responses to even the worst reviews are constructive and understanding - the kind of place I want to spend my money. You guys are going a great job!!

It's one of the best Mexican restaurants we've been to. Each time we visit Newcastle, we always come here one night for dinner. The food is next level goodness!

It's a super busy place, but also has a relatively chilled atmosphere with good vibes.

Highly Recommend If You Love Fresh, Modern Mexican Cuisine.
