Kmart Waratah

This store is 24/7 and most holidays still open. It’s a really good store with amazing staff. This store I believe has more discounted and clearance items. Parking is ok but it can get very full. I’d say that 9 times out of ten you will find a spot to park your car in the first isle you drive up.

You can't beat the price for painting canvases here at Kmart. Great quality and quantity available.

I had some fantastic service from a young gentleman who was probably about 17 years old, I think his name was Luke from memory. He deserves a pay raise.

enough car park space, big kmart but Price list and organization are not well organized.

I recently made a click and collect and live an hour away from this store, it's not my closest but travelled to get the items. They were the only store out of 6 closer to me to have everything in stock. Also the only one to be open 24/7. Lots of parking out the front, and seems to be bigger and more fully stocked than many of the others. Staff were friendly and there's checkouts both at the front of the store and in the middle.

On Tuesday 13th December I drove to Kmart on a recommendation from office works to have a photo scanned as they were unable to help. On arriving at the photo scanning section of Kmart I was dismayed to see all their machines were out of order also. To the rescue came the supervision behind the desk ,Natalie, she went above and beyond my expectations to help me scan a photo for my 93 year old uncle, for a Christmas present.

Dangerous place, theres some sort of mind/time altering thing happening inside, where you go in for just one thing should take a couple of minutes max ... One hour later walk out with a new tidy basket full of home decor, realise you don't have the thing you went in for, but you do have an awesome fake plant in a cute pot, new picture frames, and a pile of other items.

Good thing it doesn't hurt the bank account 😉

Kmart represents great value for me and my family. Anything I have bought that has had a defect has always been swiftly refunded. The staff are always nice, friendly and helpful. The new layout of the stores does take a little getting used to, but I prefer it over the old layout as it is different from other stores like Target

Staff were incredible! Went out of their way to help us find what we were looking for. Kind and helpful! Awesome team!

A genuinely profound social and cultural landmark for the people of inner city Newcastle. It is a sincere tragedy that nobody has (yet) written poetry, painted paintings, sung songs about this most wonderful place, for it may be a profit-driven business as much as any other, but it is truly part of the soul and the character of Newcastle. Endless novelty abounds, at unbeatable prices, at hours not kept by any other establishment in the entire region. There is genuinely nothing in the Hunter anything like this place, and perhaps nothing in the whole of Australia. Genuinely one of my all time favourite places to go and be, and about as much fun out of the house as you can have past 11pm without getting yourself into trouble...

it's open 24 hours, and parking is always great after midnight. Place tends to get rough but the staff there are great. I've been around 15-20 times and witnessed two shoplifting attempts and one domestic!

Has everything you could ask for. Affordable price and variety of products. We bought our entire camping gear from Kmart and it cost us a quarter of the prices elsewhere. I would go there again and suggest it to everyone

Kmart has really lifted its game over recent years. I always like BigW more but not now. The stick at Kmart is more appealing, prices are great and there’s a lot of choice. My girlfriend loves shopping here because she can buy something cheap that looks good and she can update next year without feeling guilty about wasting money.

Classic old school Kmart from my childhood. Huge carpark within trees, once you're inside it's big wide open spaces. Big range. Worth the drive. Like the new middle of store checkout points.

Convenient, large scale kmart offering an extensive range of products from a simple pencil right up to trendy, more expensive home electronics. Staff were VERY helpful and courteous and will gladly assist with ANY questions you might have. I very happy customer.
