We've stayed here a few times now. It is pet friendly and has just about everything you could want. Enclosed fire, top kitchen and appliances, good TV - great beds. One main bathroom BUT it has a separate powder room/toilet with shower. Good outside deck for taking in the view and a few quiet drinks at night. Shower is excellent.

It is a solid walk to the village - not far but STEEP. We tended to drive down to the Woolies and Brewery. Good BBQ. Well situated for wine area - King Valley/Milawa, Myrtleford, etc etc.

You could easily spend a week or so here. Be great for the family - with dog or without. Has a garage but it has an "unfriendly" door. Plenty of firewood for the fire - but remember to place it in the sun to fully dry. Fire set to go on arrival - welcome pack - heaters running for us - very thoughtful. We've loved it each time we've visited.

Tips - good Thai in the village. Woolies is good - and IGA. Newsagent (Lotto) has very odd hours so get the paper from Woolies. Nice fish and chip shop. Brewery is well worth a visit - on the deck with a heater at night. They also have a Beechworth Bakery - BEE STINGS ! Myrtleford is well worth a look-see. Also - especially the kids - Santa's House in the village. Awesome.

Stayed for 5 days. Beautiful views. Lovely accommodation, clean & comfortable. Highly recommended
