Great Ocean Road Escapes

We had a fantastic time staying at Great Ocean Road Escapes apartment Bay Vue which is the ideal apartment at Apollo Bay! It is the upper most ocean facing corner apartment in a block that overlooks the golf course and wonderful bay - you couldn't get better!!! We love nothing better than getting a sensational seafood takeaway from the Apollo Bay Fisherman's Co-op just a few hundred metres down the road, bringing it back and eating out on the front deck, sparkling wine in hand and looking out on the breathtaking vista! The apartment is decked out beautifully - the important kitchen, living and dining areas are at the front to drink in the fantastic views through almost floor to ceiling windows and bedrooms, bathrooms etc are all very nicely appointed and comfortable at the back of the apartment! We love this place and will be back yet again!

A Perfect stay for a trip at the Great Ocean Road. The studio apartment 1B is located in the center of Apollo bay and offers a private parking spot, washing machine+dryer, a small kitchen, a separate bathroom and a balcony faced to the greens of the local golf court. The beach and all the little shops and cafes are only a few walking minutes away from the unit. Lisa was extremely nice and welcoming towards us, the communication was very easy and good. We would definitely come back again.

Modern clean and comfortable apartment with stunning views over Apollo Bay and centrally located near the centre of town. Lisa is a very responsive host and was very helpful if we needed anything during our stay.

Our stay in Apollo Bay was great. Family Tides had all we needed and plenty of space. Easy to walk into town and to the beach and a nice, quiet neighbourhood.

We loved our stay at Miren Cottage! Beautifully renovated and decorated it was an easy walk to the beach and shops. The well appointed kitchen was spacious with plenty of bench space for meal preparation and accessible to the deck. Beds were comfortable and living area was cosy and homey with lots of books and board games. Surrounded by a wrap around garden it felt light and peaceful. We'd love to come back someday.

We had a wonderful stay in Apollo Bay! The house was very clean, stylish, and provided several places for our family members to retreat. Apollo Bay is an ideal location to explore the Great Ocean Road and surroundings. We also spotted 2 koalas in the trees across the house, which made our stay even more special!

Lisa's place was beautiful and clean. The location is excellent, close to beach and eateries. Separation in two floors helped us to manage time spent with parents and kids very well. She is a good host!

We had a great time at Lisa's place. Great price and the house is charming, with beautiful native flowers in the garden. It is super quiet and comfy with a little fireplace for some relaxing evening. It is also an ideal location to explore the main spots of the Great Ocean Road. There is a great cafe 5min away from the house and it is also at a walkable distance from the beach and main streets and pubs. Thank you we will come again :)

My experience at Lisa's place was exceptional! The spot was impeccably clean, offering excellent value for the price. The fully equipped kitchen was a standout feature, providing everything I needed for a convenient and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend Lisa's place for its completeness and overall great experience.

GOREscapes helped us with The Lighthouse Retreat, booked for pet friendliness - our dog loved it as much as we did. Great position in a lovely town, wonderful accomodation, well looked after, friendly helpful reception. Hesitated to review as we want to keep the secret of this little gem to ourselves. 😁

First time away with family booked the units were really impressed with the set up every thing was perfect close to shops also information booklet about were to eat and things to do whilst at Apollo Bay went for a walk to the harbour seen Seals and a Stingray unbelievable thank you Lisa from Great Ocean Road Escapes for a truely fantastic time will tell all my friends about this lovely trip

Me and wife loved the stay, short walk to beach and main street, very cozy accommodation, normal tv, everything else they had.

Had a great stay at the apartment (3 nights in August). It's a lovely and cosy apartment where you feel straight at home. As we travelled in winter, we really enjoyed the heaters, which did the job very quickly, following us spend full days out and about. And thumbs up for Netflix tv! :-)
We also appreciated the wonderful views of the hills and bay and very close to the town centre.
All in all fantastic property, great value for money and we would be more than happy to stay again!

Sipping coffee on the well positioned veranda with glorious early morning sun on your face was just the start. My partner and I loved our time here. You couldn’t ask for a better location being a stones throw from the Great Ocean Walk, a 15 minute drive into the trails of the Otway National Park. On top of that, you are walking distance to fabulous restaurants and coffee spots. The suits themselves are well equipped for how ever you like to spend your down time and if you want a cook at home option.

Every comfort was taken care of and we really appreciated the little details. Thank you, we can’t wait to come back

Booked via Airbnb. The four nights stay was wonderful. Great location, big space, clean everywhere. The house is equipped with everything you need for daily life and really kids friendly (kids toilet, bed side safe guard, step stools, you name it). Lisa responds to messages very promptly which wad really helpful when we had questions. Thanks for the great holiday!

We loved our stay at Beach But, Apollo Bay. Location and amenities all superb. Would love to return!
