Had a lovely meal with my family this evening, service was friendly and warm and the ambiance reflects this, meals were excellent and well cooked, prices are very reasonable also. Many thanks to kristie, you are running a safe and friendly space for families to have a pub meal without gambling etc, bravo 👌🏻

Had a very enjoyable dinner on Friday evening. There were 6 in our party and all were happy with their meal. The pub has a good easy relaxed feel and live entertainment. Well done.

Visited Dan Murphy’s, which is the bottle shop part of the Maypole Hotel. Excellent service (as usual) and also has a ‘click and collect’ facility which I class as a cut above. Your order is ready for collection very quickly.

Very pleasant and quaint 1800's hotel.
Very friendly staff and surprisingly very affordable priced eats and generous servings too. A great atmosphere with live music (1 man solo act) on Friday nights.

Had the parmi, it was very good and the staff were great. Had the chocolate mousse tart, which was very good also. Thank you very much.

We used the function room for our workplace fun night. Mr Devine was so accommodating, friendly and assisted us with what we wanted. Great platters, pizza and finger food from the kitchen was included in the hire of the room.

The Maypole is at the heart of Hobart culture. Everyone has a story or a memory. The current owners pay homage to history by offering a classic pub menu and a welcoming friendly atmosphere. A great night out.

Fabulous service. Esther and Justin couldn't be more professional and friendly if they trued. Very busy night but nothing was too much trouble for them. Definitely will be back.

Honestly had such beautiful food several times since they've reopened. Very caring owners, couldnt do enough for us. Even remembered our drink orders on our second visit there!
Top pub grub done well with fresh ingredients. Amazing pepper sauce too.

Very family friendly. We took toddler for his first meal out and nothing was too much to ask! high chairs available and great atmosphere.

Super value, food was terrific at a very reasonable price. Justin and Ester were great hosts, friendly and happy to have a great chat with some banter thrown in. Highly rate The Maypole as a must visit, family friendly venue!
