Love bonds

I wanted to write this review as I was really disappointment with the service I got from an employee that works at bonds. When you walk into a retail shop you expect to be served to a standard that you would also give to customers if you were a worker there. I dislike having to name names, but Annie there really disappointment me. I let her know what I was looking for and she really looked at me disgusted. As a women I like to wear g strings which shouldn’t be ‘looked upon’ as disgusting. She kept suggesting full brief underwear which I repeatedly told her no. I work in the centre so I do like to shop at bonds and the reason I was shopping there that day was to look for some comfier underwear and bonds is not cheap! Hence why I asked for an opinion on underwear as obviously you cannot return underwear. Her opinion made me feel really under-minded. Anyways long story short i got to the counter after letting her know I no longer need her help as I ended up choosing a pair I felt was best fitting for me.
I told her I work In the centre so she could honour me my 10% centre discount. She then went onto saying she can’t offer me my discount as she can’t confirm I work in the centre. I was obviously wearing my uniform and showed her that on my scrubs it said ‘Robina’ and my place of work and she mentioned that I could be wearing someone else’s uniform. I let her know that, that would be stupid and why would I wear someone else’s uniform to come in and get a 10% discount.
The whole encounter was just smug and I hope that Annie can be better for the customers after me. It’s not a great to have any negative experience at a retail shop as it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. I will not be returning to bonds at robina until employees like Annie can be trained better to be a positive, uplifting employee that can offer no judgment to women’s wants.

Today I went into bonds to look for some baby singlets and bodysuits.
I was with my 1 year old restrained in my arms and my 3.5 year old who is actually very well behaved.

We were met my Annie. Annie was straight away rude to me and my 3 year old. Gave me no help finding sizes which was fine, however you would think as we were the only ones in store she would be able to help.
My toddler decided to stand next to me leaning on the wall, she told my toddler not to touch the square wall beside the counter, unsure why leaning on it was not okay as he was just standing next to me while I collected the singlets. My toddler then starting walking around the square wall in the store to our surprise, Annie also had an issue with that and if looks could kill, he would not be here.
I also handed my toddler some socks to pop up onto the counter in which he gently threw up (not in any sort of abrupt way) he just could not reach the counter. Annie yelled at him “We do not throw around in this store.” Annie he was not throwing around the store!!!! I’m furious that she yelled at him and I’m furious that she thought he was throwing them around the store.

The threshold for kids (and well behaved kids by that manner) is extremely low in that store. If you sell children’s clothing amongst the adult clothing expect there to be children in the store too Annie !
We visited seed and Myer all in that day and the staff were kind and absolutely beautiful.
In short we will not be returning to robina bonds ( sad for them as both boys are mainly dressed in bonds) unless people like Annie are trained better in understanding what their role and what is standard delivery in customer service!!! Do better Annie !!!
