Universal Store

Today I went into Universal looking to buy a pair of jeans. I wish I got the name of the girl who helped me, she was wearing green dickies and a baby tee with brown/blond ish hair, but I wanted to leave a review to say she was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond and helped me find my jeans that fit my body and flattered me the most (ended up being A brand Jessie jeans) . She was so lovely and friendly and I think Universal should consider themselves lucky to have a team member like herself. She made my day :)

My boyfriend and I came into the store 16/10/22. We were speaking to a staff member when looking at the men’s clothes and told her we were off to Bali, she proceeded to pick out the best clothes for my partner and went above what anyone at other clothing stores has ever done to help us out. The other lady in the change rooms was also so lovely and kind. It’s so rare to come across great customer service like this. Those girls need a raise!

I was in here last week and the customer service is great! They didn’t have my size in stock for a top and they purchased it online for me, came within 4 days. Shoutout to the team :) and thankyou again

Best Universal Store I’ve been to. The ladies working today went above and beyond with their customer service. One woman was super handy and taking my clothes to the dressing room ready for me while also asking if I wanted to see different colours of items I had already picked. No other store I’ve been to has been that hands on and efficient. Also the woman in the change rooms was helping everyone out with their fit and giving them styling suggestions it was awesome. The lovely lady on the counter gave us a good chat on check out. Thank you all x

Went into the Robina store this week on two separate occasions - due to error on behalf of the online store. Got the manager each time ( sorry ladies the piece of paper with your names on it I lost - I’m the one with the Wrangler tees lol ) Returning two items which were not what I had ordered so frustrating but these two ladies were so considerate, apologised for the screw ups & handled my refunds without any hassle. I said I’d put up something just to acknowledge their customer service .... 11/10 from me. 👍🙏🏽

10/10 customer service, always willing to help out and give advice truthfully! Also, they offer immediate help and understanding with faulty items and refunds. But always feel welcome and warm when entering the store, major kudos to the Robina team!!

1st time ever shopped here and found the best staff, all super friendly, polite and helpful. Great choices of tshirts too. Will be going back.

My experience this store was not as I expected it to be. But I am amazed with the response I was given from the Owner of this store. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and that’s the good customer service everyone wants to receive.

I will test my luck in the near future coming in and giving this store another go.

I was in there today around 11:45 and had a lovely young man help my mum and I with some clothes for my brother. It was so nice having someone’s help and friendliness

Just called the robina store, asked for a simple size check on a pair of jeans before I made my way in, the lady on the phone was so rude and unhelpful and she thought it was a laughable matter when I asked if she had any other sizes in a pair of jeans I’m after. I then asked if she could check the pacific fair store for me and she bluntly said can you call them because we are just really busy. Don’t work in a customer service role if you have no skills and care for helping your customers. I’m just as important as one of your customers in store. Totally just lost a customer and I won’t be calling the pacific fair store to be treated the same way.

I would give this no stars if it were possible.

Today, June 19th at approx 4:15pm, I went into Universal Store at Robina in an attempt in exchange a mens small Champion hoodie for a womens small Champion hoodie. When I walked in, there was only 1 other customer in the shop who was already being helped but 3 other employees who I know saw me failed to even acknowledge my presence. When i walked up to the main counter, not one person came over to assist me. Then when I was finally helped after waiting for nearly 5 mins, a woman told me "we dont stock the womens Champion hoodie" I found this to be strange, because when I purchased the hoodie at Pacific Fair, they had both mens and womens sizes, not to mention on your website which clearly shows a difference in mens and womens sizes. When I told her this, she said "Champion doesnt make mens or womens hoodies. They only make unisex". I then asked if they could call Pac Fair to see if they had it in stock and the woman said that "we cant call then but you can go over to Pac Fair to check for myself". I was extremely upset and decided to just return the hoodie.

I can understand that maybe they have worked a long day and they are tired and just want to go home. However, there was still nearly an hour left. To say this was incompetent customer service is generous. These employees were just plain rude and didnt seem to care at all. I am someone who never writes reviews and I believe people deserve second chances when they make mistakes but honestly, this kind of customer service is not acceptable and i sincerely hope the people who were working will be reprimanded.
