Childers Oasis Motel

Friendly and well-maintained motel one street away from the main drag with direct access to the main street from within the property. Rooms are neat, well presented and meet every requirement. All the amenities you could ask for are onsite (pool, laundry, kitchen), even a hangout area near the reception. Staff are friendly and maintain your room nicely whist you are away for the day. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Last minute stop, lucky find. The reception staff were very helpful and accomodating, staying a bit later as we got held up on the road. Next and tidy rooms. Thanks!

No complaints. The bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful. The room did seem to be new or freshly renovated. Well located in the middle of town. It was quiet in our room at the back of the motel.

Clean and modern rooms right in the centre of town. Perfect for a quick stop on route or a longer explore of a lovely littletown.

Myself and my friend stay and we were very happy on arrival.
Our room was extremely clean and shower nice and hot.
Bed was comfortable and heaps of milk in fridge. I would stay again. Thanks 10 out of 10

Stayed at a lot of country motels over the years and this one is by far the best. Totally renovated, spacious, immaculate rooms, most comfy bed, everything a traveller needs. Set back so amazingly quiet. Well done, appreciate your efforts. Federal Hotel recommendation for dinner was great too.

The only reason it's not 5 stars for the room is that there was a shower curtain, which allowed the bathroom floor to get drenched. Bed super comfy, room very clean and well appointed. The pool is fantastic

Just had to say how enjoyable our stay at this lovely Oasis Motel was. Right in the middle of town BUT it was quiet and SO comfortable and clean. This was a wonderful room/place to come back to after exploring beautiful Childers. Highly recommend.

Great clean, updated facilities that accommodated our late check in. Book through them directly for the best price.
Very quiet although we got random knocks on our door in the morning that we ignored as I was not opening the door to the unknown.
Chad was very friendly over the phone and very helpful

Yeah it was great, bed was comfy and slept good haha. We walked to the bowls club for dinner hoping to win a meat tray. We didn't so was bummed about that. But It's right next to subway so we went and got a footlong Italian herbs and cheese

Clean rooms, good size for a family, pool for the kids to cool off. Staff friendly. Reasonable prices during peek season. Air con rooms, light in bathroom takes a few secs to turn on. Great hot water for the shower. Cafe wasn't open during our stay. Rooms have Foxtel but menu needs updating for the remote channels so you can find the right show. Extra blankets in the cupboard. Bed was a little too soft for us but otherwise comfortable. Single beds were comfortable.

Service was amazing as always. Rooms appear to have been renovated since our last stay and they're nice and quiet set back on the block from the main street

Newly renovated characterful motel. Comfortable bed and pillows. Down a cute laneway that opens directly onto Main Street with bakery and hotel close by. Friendly staff. Loved it and will definitely be back. The land slopes back from the Main Street to the street behind so the property is spilt level over 2 1/2 flights of stairs. I didn’t have any problem but if you have mobility problems maybe check with reception first to secure a room on the ground floor and park on the Main Street.

We would like to take this time to thank Childers Oasis Motel for their amazing hospitality and compassion shown to us during the January 2022 Floods. We were stuck along the Bruce Highway during all the flooding and road closures occurring at that time. We decided to book two nights at the motel for our own safety while we waited to monitor the situation, but later that day, we decided to try to make it all the way to our destination of Brisbane, as we had heard the roads had been opened for a brief window of time. We asked the Motel if they could please still hold our bookings for us in case we had to return. We had offered to still pay for the two rooms for the two nights regardless of the situation, for our own peace of mind. Thankfully, we were able to get to our destination safely. We then rang the motel and told them we had arrived home. The Motel called us the next day and refunded our accommodation as we hadn’t needed the rooms. We were so thankful! That is good, old fashioned ‘country hospitality’ right there. We would definitely recommend Childers Oasis to anyone travelling through this lovely little town.

Great location being in the centre of town however nicely set back from the Main Street. Everything felt quite pleasant with our overnight stay, the room was super clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Friendly receptionist at front desk and the Owner/ Manager whom we met was a lovely down to earth guy that we enjoyed a passing chat with. We would definitely book the Oasis again if stopping over in Childers.

When childers oasis says best price guaranteed they forget to add but one thing great value for you're money.
At the oasis motel we found it to be a little paradise, the staff where very helpful and bubbly. And the rooms are just what you need nothing more nothing less extremely quaint and comfortable we will definitely recommend oasis motel and we would indeed stay here again .

I stayed here 20th August and found the Motel warm and welcoming. It is neatly tucked away behind the main street and is very quiet. The Motel has had a retro, modern overhaul and looks great. Jamal the Manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Quiet room, great facilities, good bed and nice hot shower. Very friendly service from young lady a reception desk. A great little stopover.
