The Peanut Van

Made a mad dash for the van as it was pouring rain and was able to stand under the awning out of the rain whilst my coffee was being made, grabbed a bag of honey coated peanuts and off I went perfect pit stop. So many different flavours to choose from with the peanuts it's hard not to try something different every time..

The massaman curry nuts were my fav but I'm open to try many others. Very helpful staff easy parking 7 days a week. The ki Gary curry nits we also good. I suspect many other flavours would be great. Many other products as well. Stop for a rest and get a nut or 2.

We got some salted caramel and lime&chilli peanuts, it was delicious, couldn't stop eating. They have several different flavours. Will be my stop every time I go through Childers.

We stopped by at this Peanut Van by curiosity and it was a good thing we did. The peanuts were really fresh and delicious. Best road trip snack. It keeps the kids from boredom. It had different kinds of flavor to choose from. Would love to go back next time.

Whenever I travel from the Gold Coast to Airlie, I always make time to rest at The Peanut Van in Childers and stock up.

Recommended for their fantastic range of flavoured peanuts, especially the chocolate coated peanuts.

Great variety and regular restocks mean that if your flavour is out you won't have to wait long for its return. Delicious coffee too and nice shady trees to enjoy your purchases.

I love this little shop in the middle of town. Definitely a great snack for the road ahead. I stop in here once a month and pick up a few peanut snacks for the drive back to Brisbane. As well as savoury nuts they also have sweet nuts. Salted caramel and sweet and salty are yummy. But how can you go past the Angry Taco peanut. Best thing is you can sample them before buying. 2 different sized packets of all varieties as well as cold soft drinks sold here.

SO MANY NUTS! Honestly had no idea that there could be so many flavours of nuts- salty, sweet, spicy, meaty and everything in between. The lady was fantastic- let us try as many different flavours as we wanted before we purchased. Can buy bags in 3 different sizes and all reasonably priced!

If you like nuts, this is somewhere you have to stop on your way up or down the Bruce!

Been past many times but finally got to visit today. Lovely lady behind the counter, happy to help me choose. The sugar coated ones are just like the ones I used to have when a child YUM. Honey ones are great too. Also got the bbq pork ribs flavour which is great too. Can highly recommend them all.

The world’s best and freshest peanuts. There’s a flavour for everybody, but in my view the Chilli and Lime peanuts can’t be beaten.
