The Drunk Bean

We were meeting a friend from other side of Bundy & we are from Hervey Bay for her birthday ( 4 of us). We had been told about this quirky little cafe & it was Awesome. The staff/ owner could not have made it more special. They let us take a cake in & even supplied candles. Lovely place.

The best Eggs Benedict we've had in long long time. Perfectly cooked with 2 rashers of bacon and the right amount of hollandaise sauce, not swimming in it. The coffee was excellent as well. We'll be back next time we're coming through. Well done, keep it up.

We came across this gem traveling through Childers. So glad we stopped!!!
We had breakfast here and it didn't disappoint
We walked away very full and with absolutely no complaints.
The relish they add on the side was so good I actually brought a jar to take with me!
Don't miss this spot if you are travelling through. They do amazing breakfasts and the lunch menu also looked very good.

I had my eggs Benny and taste really nice comparison to other coffee shop, they put avocado on it and the bread that they used are crunchy on the edge but soft in the middle. The bacon they used taste like that Im back in New Zealand. Staff are friendly and nice, it's always busy everytime we have breakfast. Most people probably will miss this place, since it was tuck in the corner closer where the woolworths are.

Lovely atmosphere, very helpful and attentive service, coffees fantastic and easily adaptable vegan options from their many vegetarian regulars. I’ll be back.

This place was amazing when I visited, the friendliest staff in the world, they were all enjoying working there & creating the perfect atmosphere. The food was incredible and came out very quickly even though it was quite busy (tables available though.

Definitely worth calling in for a coffee, snack or meal, it's not inside Woolworths and parking is easy. It looks as though they look out for all dietary requirements.

This was honestly the best eggs benedict I had in a long time with a large cappuccino and biscuit to top it off. Will be back. My wife had a latte out of the books and is smiling with joy 😀 The atmosphere outside is a good setting especially in the morning 👍

On the northern side of Childers, we were blown away by the friendly family that welcomes you into their home. Pikelets and scones like mum makes and coffee to rival Melbourne's best. Take a break and enjoy this place.

Just stopped in on our way south, best food! We had scrambled eggs, a Benny wrap and fruit toast. The best we’ve both had and our little guy ate every bite of his toast.
The juice and coffee was perfect too!
Really fast service but no compromise on the quality or size of servings. Will be stopping here every time we go past on our trips now

Scrambled eggs with tomatoes and toast was absolutely lovely. A very big meal. I also asked for a jug of hot water and they were so obliging. Totally recommend this place. The only suggestion I have would be nice to have some background music.

Cute cafe at Childers. Easy to find a park and you can sit inside or outside. Food was yummy and great coffee. Maple pancakes were divine with generous helpings of cream and ice cream. Service was amazing. Our second time visiting and can't wait to pass through again.
