I had an unfortunate visit to this café recently. The staff was noticeably unfriendly from the moment I walked in, which already set a disappointing tone. To make matters worse, a fly landed in my coffee shortly after it was served. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, hoping for a replacement, I was bluntly told that I would need to purchase another one. This response was both shocking and unsatisfactory. I hope the café takes feedback seriously and improves both customer service and the dining experience.

Beautiful little spot to stop for a coffee and cake. My son loves the milkshakes and brownies, where I can't go past the cappuccino. Staff are lovely and friendly with plenty of room to sit and eat. I totally recommend this place.

Our small family called into Kape Centro for our lunch today and I could not have had a more amazing customer experience. On a hot day in Childers the outside seating area is breezy and cool - so pleasant to enjoy a family meal, seats are comfy… tables were clean on arrival !

Some may know the difficulties in long road trips with young kids and boy oh boy did my baby have quick hands when he spilt my toddlers hot choccy across the table. But the customer service was amazing afterwards ( in general really ) but it’s just so refreshing when you don’t have customer service served with a side of frustration.

Keep up the great work! Side note Childers looks as though it’s a fantastic little town to stop by and visit !!

Stopped in Childers for a break on a long drive. Friendly staff, clean, nice food options, well made coffee. Ordered a ham and salad sambo and a black coffee which were both fantastic. Coffee well made with nice crema and sandwich was beautiful and fresh with ham off the bone. Recommended

The staff were friendly the coffee great. This is our second visit on our travels and it has not disappointed us this time either. Lovely sitting on the verandah watching the traffic go by.

Great quality food for such a good price. They mixed up on order but managed to fix it immediately and gave a money back as the order costed less. 100% recommendations

We enjoyed it going North last Monday, so decided to make it a stop again coming back to Brisbane. Arthur, Reading on, it sounds like you had a "Mr Grumpy" come in, can't please everyone, however hard you try, WE ENJOYED AND WOULD COME AGAIN.Arthur P.

Good food at a great price. Service was a little slow but they had a large group of people come in at once so I imagine that had something to do with it. Lots of space to sit outside. There isn't a bathroom available for patrons but there's on in the park next door.

First visit and our breakfast was fresh and tasty. Great service. It’s tough in hospitality, whilst we were there a person wanted to Just sit and use the table not order anything. The staff member was polite and advised that they would need to order something, the mature male verbally abused her and left.

Loved the food service and atmosphere. Great place to catch up with friends and family.

Lots of gluten free options including a delicious toasted BLAT & a giant salad sandwich. Lovely, fan-cooled deck on a hot day. 👌🏻
