Hot Bread Fred

Purchased a square plain pie this morning, the young lady that served me was very pleasant and wished me a "enjoy the rest of your day" as I was leaving, but the pie..OMG it took me back to my childhood and going to the footy, the pie was the perfect temperature, cooked bum not soggy, beautiful flakey top and the filling was full and OMG Taaaasty..

Jalepeno pie was to die for. The perfect pie in my opinion. The classic steak and kidney pie was great also.

Tried pies from 3 different bakeries in Childers, this was due to not having had a pie for 4 months due to leaving Blighty to travel south East Asia. Hot Bread Fred did the best pie (I had the meat & pea pie).

Pulled in for a Breakfast stop at Hot Bread Fred in Gin Gin Qld.

The staff were very friendly.

Awesome pepper steak pies that had all ingredients of a steak dinner, jalapeno pies loaded with jalapenos and their world famous Lamingtons were on point.

Absolute gem. Apple turnovers superb. Great sausage rolls.

Tasty reasonable pies. Affordable lamingtons that were so soft and spongey. Loved the mushy peas too. Thankyou

By far the best lamingtons i have ever had! So fluffy and big you have to come back for more! And they are $1, I will definitely be coming back for more. Lady has wonderful customer service so family friendly she makes you feel at home

Excellent country bakery pies and cakes, tasty, big and well worth the price (which is very reasonable) staff very friendly and service quick, forget Macca's and get your food from here when passing through Childers, you wont be sorry.

10/10 for superb Steak & Kidney Pie. Excellent.

As something of a lamington addict I rate these lamingtons both the best and least expensive on the east coast of Australia

For locals and new settlers of this town, this bakery has "the BEST Hallapino and Pepper PiEs. " We have been from Cairns to Brisbane and each bakeries we been claimed they are the best but THIS HOT BREAD FRED Bakery beats them all. Richer filling are perfectly blend and creamy so its super delicious. My husband loves buying pies from Bakery and not from the other competitors. We even buy more pies and bring it to family in Brisbane. In short we are encouraging you to try their PiEs and see for yourselves.

Great service and fantastic! The lamington's are MASSIVE and they are only $1 each! I would also recommend the bread the the pies. Overall it is a fantastic bakery

Outstanding hot cross buns...in fact...best hot cross buns we have EVER eaten!

Lamington was 10/10. Melt in your mouth sponge with a perfect choc/coconut ratio. Steak pie was good too.
