Sushi Izu

Food is almost always fresh (sometimes rice can be hard) this is the best store of the sushi izu's I've tried. They have lots of variety to choose from with both hot and cold options. Although more expensive than your average sushi place the quality is worth the price. I love the convenience of being able to walk up and choose what I want without any line as this sushi bar is inside the woolworths store. There isn't any seating inside but you can take it out to the foodcourt area where lots of tables are available.

I love the sushi sold in this sushi izu store inside of Woolworths Pacific Fair, they make various of sushi rolls, summer rolls, salads, hot food and cold rice bowls. Food has been fresh and taste good.

Looking at the previous reviews I was confused, since I never see them serve karrage platter or drinks there, there are no seats either. maybe they were not about this sushi kiosk. Anyway, my friends and I love it, honest opinion.

The worst sushi roll I have ever eaten, tasted terrible and expect a descent sushi roll being charged $4 and very small in size too. Had Teriyaki chicken and Avocado. The avocado was brown and the chicken stringy and was minced like. Never buying sushi there again, they have to pick up their game with satisfying customers charging the price with descent sushi.

I only have bad things to say about this place after taking partner and kids here for lunch. Dramas started with staff seating us then taking our order. Then for some reason the staff member that served us totally forgot to process our order so we had to ask another staff member to chase our drinks. To top things off we ordered the Karage chicken platter. After eating a few bits I knew something was not right. It left an unusual after taste in your mouth and didn't really taste like chicken at all. Hrs later we all became quite inland very sick with migraines and vomiting! Certainly won't be going back ever again!
