Sephora @ Macquarie (4hrs Click & Collect)

I had the most lovely time at this Sephora in particular because of an employee, her name is Talia. When I first approached her, she was welcoming and very happy to assist me. Talia helped me perfectly match my skin tone to a foundation, and went around the store with me for an entire hour helping me find makeup essentials for a look I wanted to replicate.

She was such a great listener and so enthusiastic about makeup, which made me feel like I was very much in the right hands while being assisted by her. Genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve met.

I left the store with products I felt very happy with, and she even recommended stock from mecca (as Sephora wasn’t selling some products I was looking for) which I also ended up purchasing due to her advice.

Thank you so much Talia, I’ll definitely be coming back. Sephora Macquarie is my favourite makeup store now 🥺❤

She assisted me, my daughter, and SLI in finding the perfect concealer and guided us through various other products in the store. Fantastic 5 star service from GENAVIEVE!

This review is for Genavieve (sorry if i spelt the name incorrectly) from Sephora Macquarie Centre. Not only does she look after me everytime she serves me in-store, she also gives me her fullest attention, provides rational skin advice and product recommendations that are mostly from natural ingredients.

Genevieve is honest in her advice, very well mannered, very professional and passionate. Her professionalism and calmness, coupled with her willingness to listen to my skin concerns makes her more than just a Sales Consultant. Her positive work ethics and calm approach in a stressful environment makes me feel comfortable going there.

I really appreciated that Genevieve advises me on how to use my skin care routine properly, and that i should only be using Retinol and night, WITHOUT Vitamin C at the same time. Im so glad she told me that.

Thank you so much for being a positive face of Sephora. You are no doubt a good asset to any business! I hope you recover from your sunburnt face soon. All the best! =)

I really want to thank a makeup artist called Annakatica – I hope I spelled it correctly. She is so nice and patient, tried out all the possible foundations for my mum, and found a perfect one. She’s professional and lovely. My mum never wore makeup, so I just wanted to get something for her birthday. With her help, it makes everything so easy, and it made our day!

I came in looking for some help getting makeup as I don’t know which products were good for me and the girls were lovely and helpful. They were so polite and made me feel very comfortable and very welcome. Would definitely recommend coming here if you are new to make up or need any help.

I went in with my mum today to get a few items and Bianca was an absolute sweetheart, she assisted me with the correct shades I needed and if it didn’t flatter me she would suggest something better. She also assisted mum with a few things she was looking for and explained in detail why she chose the specific tone and item and why it would be flattering on us. And not once did that smile leave her face

I visited Sephora at MC this morning with my little one in her pram. Genevieve happily served me. I advised her of my dry skin and eye wrinkle concerns, and that i need help with finding the best suitable foundation for my skin type. Genevieve took the time and efforts to find and test the different brands and tones of foundation on me until we found the right one. It was surprisingly in stock too!

Since Genevieve was so knowledgeable, honest and genuine, i asked her to recommend me skin care products. She further took the time to explain each product she suggested and even gave me some samples to try. I ended up walking out with over $400 in spend, but was well worth it. The bonus was that i received all day free parking since i spent over $400. Happy days!

Customer service was excellent with one of the staff assisting me with some questions. Went in wanted to purchase what I intended to get, instead got something else which the staff help explained details of the skincare range for me. Cost more then what I was going to get but very happy with my purchase and service from her.
Never going to get skincare from David Jones again as their service is the worst.

I had my makeup done by Antonella for a work event recently and she did the most incredible job. Her attention to detail was impeccable and she put so much thought into each product she used. I have the fussiest skin and have been looking for a foundation that works for me for SO LONG, I've spent so much money trying different ones. Antonella recommended one that I never would have picked myself and it is legit so perfect for me. She is a wizard. If you need to get your makeup done, book in with Antonella for sure!!

Shopping experience was brilliant. When pointed out that the scanned price of my product and the advertised price were different it wasn’t a problem at all. The team checked it through their friendly manager and all was sorted in less than 5 minutes. Thankyou Sephora@macquarie for not making me feel uncomfortable pointing the discrepancy out.

I came in on boxing day and was taken care of by Belle, so friendly and caring! Even though they were busy she was very thorough and was able to recommend me something that works for me. Definitely asking for her again!

I spoke to two lovely assistants yesterday, one with blue hair and another knowledgeable assistant, about a Caudalie cream for pigmentation, and they were both super helpful. I went in for one product and ended up leaving with four. I wish I could remember their names, but they both made my experience exceptional.

I purchased some products from Sephora last week.
The staff that helped me was 'Tim Tim', she was super friendly and gave me helpful tips.
At the checkout counter, I changed my mind, she did not get annoyed and took the time to help me make a decision without rushing me.
I love all the products she recommended and am glad with my decision.
She seemed like she really loves her job. Staff is always nice and polite, but with her, I felt she truly enjoyed talking about the products.

We were at the store on Tuesday to ask for some eye cream samples for my mum. We asked for assistance from Genevieve and she was immediately attentive and stoped her other task that she was on! She thoroughly explained the differences of different eye creams for my mum. Afterwards she provided us with samples. Meanwhile she suggested few eye creams for me as I advised her about my own skin care routine. As she appeared to be knowledgeable and knowing her products I asked her about some moisturisers for myself and she happily gave me few different options while telling me about her personal experiences with the creams. I ended up buying two moisturisers and leaving the store with a great experience!

I was in the retail industry for 4 years and I do consistently purchase items from Sephora. I could say this was one of my best experiences! Genevieve was not only knowledgeable but she seemed to be caring and not just getting the job done then run away!!! She spent enough time with us and made sure that all of are needs are met before leaving the store! Also I may add that she was very welcoming and not any awkward about giving us samples! I should say last time I visited Sephora CBD, I was told they can’t give me samples!! I mean why should I spend $$$ on a product without knowing the results! Or what if my skin reacts to the product! Some staff can be shocking!

I may add Genevieve’s appearance as her make up and skin made me more confident about my purchase! She seemed like someone who knows what she’s doing and saying!

Being served by a knowledgeable and caring staff would absolutely encourage me to visits MQ store more often and spend my money there and also advise it to my family and friends! I hope that Sephora would have more staff like Genevieve!
