Wow, what a park! Wonderful
nature, a good maintenance of the trails and useful information spots.
We met Irina and Megan and they informed us about the care of the forest, and also about the flora and fauna of the place, they introduced us to the importance of caring for and conserving Tasmania's native life, and they even recommended other national parks on the island. They showed us many of the animals we could find in the park, and even more surprising was the wisdom they had and how easy it was to understand them as you could see the love they have for what they do. It would be great if there were more park rangers with their energy, availability and knowledge.
After visiting more than 50 national parks around the world, both my partner and I can say that the way they transmitted their knowledge to us is remarkable. Congratulations to both of them and the rest of the rangers of course

One hell of a walk to see Wineglass Bay, but worth the effort. Beautiful part of Tasmania that you shouldn't miss. Watch out for snakes!

Beautiful natural feature of Tasmania. Lots of people doing the walk to Wineglass Bay lookout, and 400 steps up to it can be tricky. But worth the effort. The 1000 steps down to the beach is ok. We did the walk to Hazards Beach and didn't come up the stairs. Recommend doing the loop. Took us 2.5 hours.

What an amazing place to spend an afternoon. Around 300 stairs to reach to lookout from where there is beautiful view of ocean divided by land. Toilet and parking are available. A pathway leading to the beach.

Really well set up and has a pleasing display of native animals. The Devils seem to be very healthy and the tours were informative and really well done. The bird show was fantastic with wild birds arriving for a feed en masse. Highly recommend.

Don't hesitate to book to stay here! It's an incredible location and for the price, you just couldn't beat it. Showers are $2 for 4 minutes, and they only accept $2 coins, they were hot and clean. Staff throughout booking and visiting were friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Awesome part of the world. Walked the two hour return trip to Wine Glass Bay Lookout. Well worth it. Honeymoon Bay is also beautiful. Take the swimmers.

I visited Freycinet National Park and stopped by the Visitor Centre hundreds of times, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The staff there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and they provided me with all the information I needed to make the most of my visit to the park.

The Centre itself is also very well-maintained and has a range of interesting displays and exhibits that showcase the natural beauty of the area. I particularly enjoyed learning about the various animals and plant species that call the park home.

What really stood out to me, though, was the level of service provided by the staff. They were happy to answer any questions I had and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great experience in the park. I even received some great recommendations on the best hikes to take and the best spots to see the stunning views that the park is known for.

Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to the Freycinet National Park Visitor Centre. The park itself is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tasmania and with good reason. But the Visitor Centre really added to my experience and made my visit all the more enjoyable. The staff there is a credit to the park and truly goes above and beyond to make sure that visitors have a great time.

One of the best places to do a hike in mostly flat ground. We did the 11km hike and took us around 4 hrs but was well worth it. The hike provides great views of Wineglass bay and two other beaches as part of the circuit.

Cannot speak highly enough of the lovely Evie who sorted us a camping spot despite how heavily booked they were. Forever grateful as we had the most perfect couple of days. THANKYOU Evie ❤

Didn't actually go to visitor centre. Did the walk to Wingeglass Bay lookout. This is a steep 3km walk to the lookout. Certainly gets the heart pumping but the view at the end makes it worthwhile

It was worth visiting but the views are obscured by the clouds during my visit. I climbed mt. Amos, and visibility was poor. Didnt even saw the beautiful scenery up there, just a small glimpse of wine glass bay. Not worth the climb if cloudy. Make sure when you climb, it is sunny and no precipitation before the climb, because it really does get slippery. The climb is very difficult so make sure you are prepared physically for it. Do not bring heavy bags during the climb. Just water and a cellphone or camera to take photos.

Did the wineglass bay and hazards beach track (around 3-4hrs) and had a nice lunch out on the beach! Cape Tourville was much shorter with great views as well! Will visit again!

Awesome visitor centre, great service from staff, and it was clean tidy and has cold water refill station. Maps for walks around the area, toilets etc

Great place to visit and climb the 400 steps to Wine Glass Bay lookout, then 1000 steps down to the white sands of the bay.
