Great park, nice tidy sites and some newer amenities. Good little camp kitchen. Well positioned park with a Cafe and pub out the front. Would stay again.

Simply the best. We had a great time here and had a hard time leaving Coles Bay. Facilities here are excellent. Laundry was excellent given we had been off grid a fair bit as were the showers. Site we had was awesome, beach views from the top and then everything else is at your doorstep. Walks, runs, bike rides, fishing, exploring, food and coffee. This was a memorable stop to end 2023. Can’t wait to get back here. Staff were friendly and there is a good atmosphere to the park.

Adelaide Campers.
It rained for 2 weeks out of our 3 week trip to Tasmania, therefore decided to go to East Coast and stay here for a few nights and enjoy the "sun"

I am someone who likes to feel clean and fresh. Yes!! Camping can be a struggle for me sometimes.

I've been to a few campsites, and they are not up to my standards, but that's ok.

I do like a clean, non a run-down bathroom & camp kitchen, which is hard to find.

This place was absolutely brilliant. It blew my expectations and was perfect for my "ocd."

The bathroom was clean and well looked after. The kitchen is clean and has a great set-up, and laundry clean, too.

We had a great time here and had a hard time leaving Coles Bay and Tasmania.

Here, we had a spot with the view of the beach. It was peaceful and had a good vibe. We were able to go for nice walks, eat at the ice creamery (get the Lavender flavour ) walk to the beach, watch the sunset, head to the cafe and the pub for drinks and dinner.

This is absolutely a beauty of a spot.. It's a must stay. Hopefully, I'll return one day.

Thanks

5 fantastic stars.
Management and office staff were very helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived until when we checked out.
We stayed in a family cabin, and it was great. Plenty of room for all to sleep with a double bed, which was a generous sized double, and two sets of bunk beds. We stayed over Christmas, and on our way there I remembered I hadn't packed the baking pan and salad bowls, but that was okay, as the kitchen had all basics that we needed to get through Christmas day cooking.
The cabin was fantastically clean when we arrived and huge bonus points as there were plenty of pillows. I use two, and it's frustrating when hotels only have one per person.
Laundry had plenty of washing machines and dryers for use, and we never had to wait to use one.
The cabin was located just near the childrens park and it was great being able to sit on the balcony and relax while still being able to watch the kids.
The holiday park is very conveniently located just behind the pub, general store/fuel station and a Bakery as well as a five minute walk from the beach.
Going back to the fact we were there over Christmas. 8:30 Christmas morning, Santa came around all the cabins/camp sites and handed out lollies. I thought that was a lovely thing to do as management/staff took time out of their day to bring a bit more Christmas cheer to the kids. Also, a shout out to the fire service for also visiting with Santa in the fire truck and handing out lollies. Our kids had a ball with Santa visiting twice.
Overall, we're very happy with BIG4 Holiday Park and Coles Bay in general, and we'll be visiting again.

Hooray! We’ve hit the jackpot with this one. Terrific location, convenient to everything, great facilities, cheapest rates we’ve had so far, don’t pay for a shower AND they’re untimed, but best of all is the attitude of the managers. At the end of a long summer season in Tassie, most caravan park managers/owners we’ve struck are at the end of their tether. Not these guys! It’s like they’ve stepped fresh off the boat. Friendly, helpful and bouncing with enthusiasm, we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. 👍

Absolutely wonderful!
We had an extremely relaxing holiday based here in a campervan - Awesome location, very clean amenities and friendly staff.
Everything you need is in walking distance, or a short drive to the wonderful tracks of Wineglass Bay and Hazards walks.
Highly recommend Iluka on Freycient.

The location is absolutely magical! Close to beautiful beaches Coles bay, Sleepy beach, Honeymoon beach and then of course Wineglass beach. Comfortable, clean but a bit dated cabins. Friendly and helpfull staff. Bar and eatery within walking distance a few 100 meters. Lovely little coffee shop / eatery for early morning coffee and breakfast.

We received great service from Ian when booking and checking in. The sites vary quite a bit so you need to know the size of tent or camper. Very good facilities and showers were first class.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay (which can be busy) & next door to a pub/bistro (often with live music). Very friendly managers. We had a pleasant, grassed powered site. Amenities are plentiful & clean.

Staff did everything to accommodate getting our camper onto a cracking powered site without any booking. Even provided an extension power cord at no charge. Facilities clean. PS beautiful location. Will be back again.

Stayed 3 nights here and had a wonderful time! The park managers, Emma and Ian, were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Ian helped me reverse into my site. Location is great for hiking, so close to Freycinet National Park. Also, the beach, cafe (with great coffee), pub and service station right next door.

Location is truly magic in the campground which sits directly on Coles Beach which has a bakery, a good grocery store, a bistro, a bar, and a bottle shop. Very good swimming beach. And of course the proximity to all the national park sites & hikes. Place is magic! Oh and great sunsets over the water too.

Fantastic cabin and great facilities. The cabin suprisingly had a large tv and a deck with. tables and chairs. Being a caravan park we were also able to use the lau dry facilities.

Big thanks to the staff who gave me a call just after we left to let me know that I'd left a few things behind in the room and that I could grab them from the office!

We stayed for only one night at an unpowered site but we will definetly come back! Very friendly and informative welcome from the receptionist and hearty farewell by the owner.
The park has a restaurant and bakery very conveniently closeby and as mentioned the showers are great!
No time limit, straight forward temperature adjustment and good pressure. Really appreciated luxury during a longer camping tour!

We usually avoid Big4 CPs but this park was a really nice place to stay without all the whistles and bells usually associated with Big4 parks and it was well priced. The staff were great also.

Amazing place! I’m not a huge fan of holiday parks but this one is super pretty. The owners were extremely friendly. We stayed in a campervan and the sites are very big and well leveled (which is super important when you sleep in it!). The view from the kitchen space is amazing, would definitely recommend this place
