The Koshary and Hawawshy, or the "Egy Burger," were absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and the dishes were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and the ambiance reflected the rich Egyptian culture. If you're craving an authentic taste of Egypt, look no further than King Tut!

Fantastic experience! Finally there is an authentic Egyptian restaurant in Melbourne where the taste and quality are at the top level. Koshary, Hawaowshy ( Egyptian Burger) and Kebda (beef liver) are highly recommended. This place will take you to Egypt for a short and sweet trip.

They are new in Brunswick, giving everyone a trial of their traditional food Koshary. It's was quite delicious. Will definitely go back to try their other items on the menu when they open fully 🙂

The Kooshary, an Egyptian classic of rice, lentils, Fried onions and tomato sauce and more was so tasty! The Rice pudding was a perfect balance of texture, sweetness and smoothness. Love this new Egyptian street food place on Sydney Road-the owners are delightful and their service impeccable.

I didn’t even go to the actual shop, and I already know that it is amazing. I was there when this guy was still a food truck! His koshari is LITERALLY THE BEST. If it’s so good coming from a truck, imagine it in a shop!

Tried this place out after seeing it randomly as we went past. The Egyptian burger was very nice, the minced meat in it was flavoursome. The liver sandwich was nice, the bread was very soft. The pickled vegetable side on the Egyptian burger had an interesting flavour I've never had before, it was nice. Hummus sides were tasty. The portion size to price ratio was pretty good. Overall it was a good taste experience, will come past and try it again! Thanks!

The people in this store are beautiful and make you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. It is with no doubt the most delicious Egyptian food in Melbourne and it does not disappoint!
