Pot Sticker Dumpling House - Hobart

Visiting from Singapore, we are completely impressed with the authenticity and quality of the cuisines served here in Hobart. The pan fried dumplings are made to the right texture, also making them our favourite. A big compliment and kudos shout out to the chef. 👨‍🍳

Delicious is the only word to describe it. We were looking for some noodle soup, and we found this place.

We ordered a chicken laksa and a lamb noodle soup. I absolutely loved the lamb noodle soup, tender lamb, and very tasteful soup.

The laksa was delicious, too, but definitely wasn't on the same level as the lamb noodle soup.

The customer service, on the other hand, was a bit sad. Me and my partner walked in, and no one welcomed us or guided us to sit, and so we just sat down ourselves and ordered on the QR code. They did not interact with us at all, even when we received the food.

Googled for a nearby good reviews dumpling restaurant from our hotel and this restaurant pops up. It indeed deserves a good rating. Delicious Chicken Fried Noodles and Boiled Pork Dumplings. Our Spring Onion pancake for take away was great too. Attentive and efficient service.

Food is pretty decent here. Staff are friendly and went out of the way to allow us to use the staff toilet (as we were on the road for hours prior). We love the dumplings here. We usually order variety of dishes to share so far everything taste great. Having chilli oil as a condiment on the side is a plus.

Very reasonable prices, cheap compared to what's out there. Quick and friendly service, even though they were busy.
The chicken skewers with satay sauce were the best I've had, the sauce is divine, I would have licked the plate if could! Proper city vibe and authentic. I loved it and all be going there again.

Came in just before they closed and thankfully we were still able to get it in takeaway containers.

Tried the boiled and also the pan fried vegetarian dumplings. Both were tasty, my kiddos liked boiled and I loved the crispy bits on the pan fried.

Delicious food, fast service, small eat in area, but turns over quickly. Vegetable pot stickers were our fave. Chicken fried rice absolutely delicious. Worth a stop.

The pork pot stickers were delicious. The beef noodle soup broth was a bit bland but this could be improved with the complimentary condiment station. The noodles were a great texture and the beef was super tender.

Such delicious dishes - I really didn't want to leave Hobart just because I'd have to wait another year or so before experiencing their food again 😢
I recommend their poached broccolini, pork dumplings (both boiled & pan fried), and their chicken fried noodles.

Small and easy to find on Collins Street, the food is sensational. As an ex hospitality person I urge you to please be patient with the staff as they’re very busy. You can QR code your order from the badge on the table. They sell soft drinks and you can BYO alcohol. Favourite dish was green beans with spiced mince. Also the prawn dumplings x 10 piece. This was the fourth visit for my friend and first for me. Whenever he visits Hobart he comes here for a meal. Well worth it as the food was so so good.

The most amazing dinner!! What a surprise for a small unassuming restaurant. Fresh well cooked vegetables, homemade delicious dumplings, egg and vegetables fried rice left us wanting to come back tomorrow! Lovely, quick service too.

Truly delicious Chinese food. For Christmas and New Years Eve, we decided to stay away from overpriced set dinners at fancy restaurants and indulged in simple comfort food. Found our way to Pot Sticker, one of the few casual restaurants that were open during the holidays, and we were delighted by the yummy dishes. Place your order at the counter, make payment and your food will be served to you. We love the following dishes:
- Honey Chicken
- Pot Stickers
- Dumplings in tangy sauce (the sauce is so good).

Well priced for a very satisfying meal. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Ordered the spicy dumplings and they're simply irresistibly good - never had such thin silky skin in Sydney and Melbourne ever 😋

Was here last week and everything was so yummy! We had the vegetable fried noodles, pan fried vegetable dumplings and boiled mix dumplings. Very well priced too.

Decided to try this place based on good reviews and close proximity to the hotel we stayed at. We tried the bbq pork buns, spring onion pancake, Mongolian beef with egg fried rice, fried kway teow (no seafood option) and egg custard buns. Service was very friendly and fast. One of the staff came out to ask about seafood allergies and to double check what we would like added/left out of our meals. Everything we tried was amazing. Highly recommended!

Pot Sticker is my favourite Asian lunch eatery. We've never had a bad, or even just OK meal - the food is always amazing, delicious, fresh and fast. This place is pumping, always busy with a stream of people eating in or taking away, plus home delivery. You can order at the table on your device if you so wish. My favourite is the Chicken Laksa (IMO the best in Tassie). We also love the mixed pan fried dumplings, brisket soup and the duck laksa. If you haven't been here, you need to get here ASAP.

Food was amazing and flavourful. Service was prompt and friendly. Must try when out in Hobart for good dumplings and a better time.

I haven’t had Asian food like this since I was a child. Perfect. Delicious. I Iive on the Mainland and would consider moving to Tassie for it. Yes. That good.

By far the best pepper beef I have ever had. Beautiful flavour and a great size serving of vegetables. Excellent value for money as I had left overs the next day. I ordered via menu log. Fantastic service all around.
