I decided to get my first tattoo on a whim whilst holidaying in Hobart. The guys in the place are all amazingly friendly and helpful and put me at ease. I managed to get a walk in so I had no chance to back out! I wish I could remember the name of the guy that did my tattoo, but he was amazing, however, looking around, I only saw amazing examples of amazing art and friendly people. Big shout out to the doggo that kept me company and demanded belly rubs whilst I was waiting! I’ve also been told by numerous people that the price I paid was very reasonable. Thanks guys, I’ll be back when I’m next in Tassie.

Had an amazing experience getting a surgical scar covered with my first tattoo at HTC. Bones was my artist and he was such a calm and kind person that I felt immediately at ease. He explained everything and did the most beautiful design. Nearly 4 weeks on and I’m still stoked beyond words so have such a beautiful work of art on my body. Can not recommend them enough.

Got matching tattoos done with my partner at the Hobart Tattoo Collective. @jason_scarr was excellent, wonderful communication from start to finish and the end design was exactly what we were after. Price was reasonable and tattoo timing was efficient! Additionally, as one of us it was our first tattoo he was super accommodating, eased all trepedations and nerves.

A very busy shop, which is always a good sign. There's a flight of stairs to get in and the business is cash only but there's an ATM nearby.
We had Patrick do our tattoos and seriously I could not recommend him highly enough. He's friendly, easy to talk to and he takes the time to listen and understand what you want. Super happy with the result. Highly recommend.

Had my virginity snatched by Jason today, in a session that saw me leave with a semi-realistic crow on my forearm. His artwork is to the high standard I expected, his manner and ability to converse the time away was exceptional.

Just wanted to share some of the work I've had done from Gab at Hobart Tattoo Collective. I am very fussy when it comes to artists work what inks they are using and the quality of their work. I can happily say with every new piece and slightly different style my expectations have been exceeded. The studio itself is worth a look, its a huge space very clean and the decor is on point. One of the main things I was very impressed with was the welcoming nature and professionalism of all the artist at the studio.

Literally the best tattoo and experience. Jason is a complete legend; knew exactly what I wanted, and the whole environment and interaction was completely comfortable from the beginning which settled my anxiety. Can't wait to get more.

Everyone is so welcoming and nice. The tattoo artists themselves are super talented and are always incredibly helpful.

I use a cane so the stairs are a little hard to get up but it's honestly not that bad and worth it.

Highly recommend following their social media as you'll be able to see upcoming events and flash days as well as individual artists work!

I had my first tattoo here, a big piece to cover some scarring. I was really anxious going in, but Gabe was fantastic and designed something better than I could have imagined. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the vibe of the shop is so great. I'm stoked with my tattoo, and my experience here. Can't rate it highly enough.

Great vibe here! The folks fit me in on short notice whilst on holiday from Melbourne. Gabe is a great artist and super friendly. Will definitely be looking at my next Tassie Tatt being here.

Michael is incredible. He is attentive, patient, easy going, and a genuinely good dude. He took time to get our artwork just right (matching bestie tatts!) and helped us all feel super comfortable, all while chatting away and not rushing us. He made the experience an ever better memory!

On recommendation from staff at Bury Me Standing, we went to Hobart Tattoo Collective for matching bestie tattoos. Michael was an absolute legend. He took the concept of what we wanted and refined it beautifully into something we all really love. He was patient, chill, sincerely wanting us to all be comfortable and happy. Couldn't be more grateful. Special shoutout to Sam who helped us out with the booking as well!

Best Tattoo ever🥰 - My wife and I walked into this amazing friendly team and asked if they could do a small one immediately and the young guy said he would do it after his lunch - 1/2 hour later the most perfect tattoo - so appreciated
