Karumba Fishing Adventures

Have to say that Gerry runs a stand-out operation. He travels the extra distance to ensure that he puts you on quality fish. When you pull in a 1.5m Spaniard like I did, that has peeled off line aplenty and got your heart racing, you will be thankful that you have someone as proficient and organised as Gerry on the gaff.

Best money spent, Mick his boat and crew Chris were the best. These guys know there stuff, great morning and lots of fish caught. Would definitely do it again and highly recommend to other keen for a fish on the Gulf.👍💯🍻

Had a AWESOME day with Gerry. Very comfortable boat and a great lunch. We managed a couple of thumper Spanish Mackerel. If your looking for a great day out at a fair price give Gerry a call, I will be when we return to Karumba. Great day Gerry keep up the good work.

This was my third ever fishing charter, first with Karumba Fishing Adventures. Was reassured by Gerry that unlike my last two charters, I would definitely catch something. And he was not wrong! Being on board with only 3 other passengers made the service very personal. Thanks so much Gerry for a great morning on the water. Even Eleanor caught her first fish.

Hands down the best fishing charter in Karumba, ran by an absolute top bloke.

Would have been an excellent trip out on the boat, even if we didn't catch the dozens of Mackrel that we did (and a few catfish and crabs!).

Ray knew exactly where the best spots were, especially during a quiet Karumba fishing season, our rods never stopped working.

Highly recommend, cannot commendate enough. As a Cairns local myself, definitely the best fishing charter I've ever been on in my life.

Extremely happy with our morning spent with Gerry. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Although we didn’t hit the fish jackpot we had a great morning. Looking forward to our winter trip in a few months! Highly recommend to anyone who is contemplating a charter.

Definitely one of the most relaxed yet productive Fishing Charters we have been on. Gerry only takes a maximum of 4 people, in our case this comprised of 2 couples which made for excellent dynamics in the boat. Nothing was too much trouble and he catered for all skill levels. Gear was well maintained and we caught so many fish we lost count! Thanks for a top day Gerry!

What an amazing charter. Gerry goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best days fishing. He only has 4 passengers at a time so plenty of individual attention. We caught plenty of fish and even had a guided tour of the river in the way back in.

We had a great day out fishing with Gerry. He went above and beyond to make sure we each caught a barra which was our target fish. Also got a King Salmon which was a bonus. Lunch was delicious and we learned heaps. Win win situation

Gerry is a great guide and very easy to chat with. We were catching fish when others weren’t.

Our family loved our half day fishing trip with Jerry, was very professional and a top bloke. caught a few fish and had a very good Karumba fishing experience. Hopefully one day we can come back during the Barra season and will definitely go again with Jerry.

Fishing with Gerry was a great day out and my mate Johnny and I were so happy we went fishing out with him....he knew the spots and was such a wealth of information. Definitely recommend that if you come to Karumba go fishing with Gerry.
