Karumba Gulf Country Caravan Park

Wow we were so happy we stayed here fir 4 nights. Huge sites grass and a large park but you don’t feel like you’re in too if everyone. Plus all the shops are nearby. It’s better to be a few mins from the ocean as all other parks so busy and packed tightly in. A wonderful town and such lovely family run park. A joy to stay here.

Beautiful shady sites and friendly ground staff. Great amenities and lots to see and do. Pub close by and the point tavern is awesome. Thoroughly recommend 👍👍👍

This park has lots of space. We had a large, very private and quiet site for our camper trailer. Alicia and staff were so friendly and happy to talk to us and answer our questions. The amenities were very clean and spacious. It was nice to have white and blue as a theme in the ladies amenities, a pleasing change. I was quite surprised to discover how much wildlife there was in and around the caravan park and in Karumba itself. The park even has a well patronised coffee kiosk open for a couple of hours each morning. Carlien from Queensland

Pet friendly! We were given a long, shady caravan spot, with a bit of fake grass that our dog just loved! There was lots of room, so we weren't squished together. The town centre started across The road (SPAR, cafe, bakery, post office, and servo down in the next block). Mystic Emporium was a delight and the owner Lea is only too happy to help you. The Animal Bar is a block away, and close to the public wharf if you want to do some fishing, or catch the sunset over the estuary. You can also catch the Ferryman Sunset Cruise from the public wharf, and I highly recommend that tour!
Why 5 stars? The staff are lovely, they sell local seafood, the pool is clean, the gardens are maintained, and the amenities are clean! It was great to have some down time to relax and refresh. It is only a short drive over to the Point, too!

Loved our stay here will absolutely be back one day,bird life is amazing as are the sunsets and sunrises. Clean amenities great pool and super friendly helpful staff.

What a lovely place to stay for a few days! The owner Alesha is friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, and has provided a home for rescue animals (native) in the area. Would highly recommend a stay, facilities were top notch, and if you fish, would be perfect!

You don't Wana stay somewhere else. This family owned and managed caravan park is the best option you can have once you're in karrumba.

Which gives sense of safety and feeling of a peaceful holiday.

Great stay. The new owners seem to be working tirelessly to make this park even better. In my view it is the most natural of the three as far as environment goes. I highly commend the management team, including the mascot Forest. Y

We stayed here recently and think it is perhaps the best park in Karumba. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and the new owners have cleaned up the park and are very welcoming and helpful. The amenities are very clean and the sites are good. We stayed here a few years ago and it wasn't so good but friends have told us about all the positive changes that have been made in the last year and they were right

I have stayed here 3 times and it is such a good park. Its not cramped like others around here , has shade and terrific staff. The amenities are spotless, wouldnt stay any where else

Nice roomy sites. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean amenities and laundries. Walk to town centre and river. $40 per night for powered drive through site.

Great place, lovely owners, the toilets and all the area is really clean. You can use outside bbq and all the areas. Just in the center of Karumba. Good place to come with the family or friends. Best area for fishing.

Reasonable priced caravan park to chill out after driving many hours very clean amenities close to shops in karumba also boat tours right next to a boat ramp if you have your own boat

Spacious has shade and room to camp with larger set ups. Close to a good Cafe, butcher grocer and the water .a great 3.8km walk through saltpan country to Karumba Point.

Very clean comfortable rooms and helpful accommodating management.
Close to shopping, pub, Cafe and the boat ramp.
