Wide Awake consistently makes the best coffee around Hobart and North Hobart. I go here almost every day and every day it’s 10/10. The place has a such a good vibe, and the owners and staff are always so positive and welcoming, remembered my order on my second visit and my name after 2 or 3 more. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone ☺

Our favourite coffee shop in Hobart. Always friendly staff and beautiful coffee. Great pastries too. They serve straight onto the street so we can wait with our dogs but also have lots of indoor seating.

The staff are very friendly and polite, the coffees are constantly great. Also they have the bangers playing while you have your favourite coffee beverage

One of the best cafes in Hobart, and open early enough for coffee on my way to work (6am!). The team are always friendly and can multitask like bosses while chatting. Contemporary fitout and fast service.

I shouldn't tell you how amazing the coffee is at this place. People already double park to get their hands on a delicious brew. Staff are lovely and you get the same coffee no matter who serves you, and the same friendly chat no matter who serves you. I love that. Try the morning buns too, omg yum.

Worth the flight from interstate! If you like coffee you’ll love this place. Very attentive staff who went the extra mile. Delicious. For those who are ‘into coffee’ like us, you will not be disappointed. Our V60 coffee was hand ground with a Comandante, very impressed!

There are so many coffee shops to choose from, then why Wide Awake? That’s because they make the best coffee (and trust me, I’ve been to a fair few coffee shops). However, it’s not just the coffee but the entire vibe of the place. Elrick and Claire are always very warm and welcoming, with a great sense of humour - making every customer feeling valued and coming back for more. I always end up with my taste buds satisfied and feeling emotionally uplifted. It’s part of my daily routine and a great start to each day. 🙂
