Great food and service but noisy birthday bunch right in front of us. Couldn’t hear myself shouting

Food and service were excellent. Unexpected and delicious. Lamb was so tender and delicious with the red wine sauce. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, beautifully cooked.

My friend had chicken risotto which tasted really good. We were both happy with our choice of dinner venue ❤❤😊😊😊😥❤❤😊😊

Top quality food, with nothing overcooked. Good attention to detail in service (dine in), and very friendly staff. Parking is free after 5.30 pm along ticketed street. I had vegetable risotto, the best I have had with so many different fresh vegetables, not so much emphasis on tomato, which suited me very well. Chicken schnitzel had a very generous chicken fillet, lean on sauce and cheese to bring a very nice balance. What a lovely place to eat, and when we travel there again, we will visit again.

Showed up for spontaneous Friday night dinner without a reservation, place was packed but staff managed to seat 2 adults and pram no worries and returned very promptly to take drink and food orders. Don’t need to love seafood to enjoy their Kilpatrick oysters. Enjoyed pizzas and wine, Eton mess was incredible!

Left table 48 feeling full and extremely satisfied with our date night. Will be going back for sure!

Wow, what a great place in Ballarat. We all agreed that the garlic and herb focaccia was the best we ever had. I had a Ceaser salad, which I haven't had in ages loved it. The other 2 had the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was rich and full of flavour. We will definitely go here again when we return to Ballerat. The staff are very professional and on the ball.

I love coming to Table 48 it's no doubt it's my favourite place to go in Ballarat. The food is Amazballs. Followed by the staff plus the Atmosphere is great. Gus is a legend. Iv had Steaks in Dubai and 3 times expensive and no where near as nice as Table 48. When in Ballarat a must to visit you won't be disappointed.

I personally had the grilled fish and chips and my partner has a big Parma. We both loved the food and atmosphere here 100% would recommend and 100% would go again!! 😁👍

I visited this place two days ago late at night. The owner was kind and the food was very tasty. Besides, we had a problem with our trip, and the boss even called and fixed the problem himself. We leave good memories from our trip.



Absolutely amazing food, highly recommend the salt and pepper calamari and the tortellini romana. Both meals were delicious and for how good they were well worth the price. The creme brulee was divine, the best I've had in years. We will definitely be eating here again, couldn't recommend highly enough.

Amazing food, great service and a warm atmosphere. All meals for our table were delicious and well worth the price. I would definitely recommend Table 48 as place to dine at, myself and the party I was with could not recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Absolutely amazing service here and by far the best pepper sauce I’ve had! If you’re looking for a warm cozy atmosphere with great food this is the place to go. Definitely worth the travel and highly recommend for couples or families. Staff were so lovely and friendly thankyou so much!

On a day trip from melbourne, we went to Table 48 for dinner as the menu had something for everyone on it.
Everyone loved their meals and I was suitably impressed by the salmon which I asked to be cooked medium. This is the 1st restaurant that cooked it as requested. Can't wait to go back!

Didn't have a reservation but was recommended by a few locals, we were we'll taken care of and seated in a nice quiet area food was amazing and came out red hot. Would come back

Had an amazing night, service felt welcoming and genuine. Food was fantastic from the Parma having a delicious sauce, right down to the salad not being massive leaf’s you feel silly eating. Even the acoustics of the room were amazing, loud kids a concern at first but me and my partner could easily have a conversation without the need to raise our voices. The whole experience was impeccable and we will be coming back again soon. Thanks guys!

This place went above and beyond. We had only just ordered and were having drinks when we suddenly had to rush off for an unexpected event. The staff very kindly rushed our order into a takeaway. Despite eating the food later, it was still delicious. Thank you Table 48! Service was stellar. We will certainly return to actually dine in for the full experience.

Great food and service was efficient. Kids loved the penne bolognese and pizza. Everyone enjoyed the meal.
