Dr Shubha is the best GP I've ever had, so compassionate, professional and attentive, and even makes unscheduled calls to me to check in about outstanding matters. The reception staff are great too. Can't recommend this clinic highly enough

Dr mayston is excellent. I have seen him a few times now over the last month for a couple of different things (some very serious) and he is always professional, friendly and knows his stuff. I feel very confident when I deal with him that I am getting the vest care he can give.

Have seen a few of the female doctors here now for myself and my children. They are all wonderful, would highly recommend.

Dear Lotus Family Clinic,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent rescheduling of my VISA medical examination appointment, which was originally scheduled for tomorrow, April 9th, 2024, and has now been moved to May 6th, 2024, due to the doctor's illness.

While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, the short notice of this change has caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my plans, especially given the critical nature of this appointment for immigration purposes. This delay puts me at risk of breaching my VISA clause due to an extended stay beyond my permitted period.

I am also disappointed by the lack of alternatives provided by the clinic to accommodate affected patients. Opening slots on Saturdays or arranging rescheduled appointments sooner would have been greatly appreciated, considering the urgency of this matter.

Furthermore, the customer service experience I encountered when trying to resolve this issue was unsatisfactory. I was directed by Lotus Family Clinic to contact BUPA customer care, who, in turn, referred me to the BUPA website for earlier appointment slots. This runaround between service providers has added to my frustration and has not resulted in a solution to my problem.

As a result of this rescheduling, I am now faced with significant travel expenses and time commitments, as I must travel from Wendouree to Wagga Wagga for my medical examination.

I urge Lotus Family Clinic to review its rescheduling policies and improve its customer service approach to better assist patients facing similar situations in the future. Additionally, I request clarification on whether the clinic intends to cover any of the expenses incurred due to this unexpected change.

I hope to receive a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter.

LIDIA is one of the WORST DRS in Ballarat, avoid her at all costs!! I wasn't aware of a $70 new patient fee as I wasn't told when I went for my first appointment, seen the lazy sod of a Dr who also was to lazy to give Me a referral for my son and a script after chasing an e-script all day I was then told until I paid the $70 fee I couldn't have the script, I'm not sure why they bother having pension cards if you incur a 70 dollar cost, glad I didn't pay because the Muppet was of ABSOLUTELY NO HELP ANYWAY!!

Went to get a blood test in this centre came at 11:45am and was told that I had to go somewhere else as she didn't want to stay back past 12 to spin the blood viles. I said I didn't realise that was necessary and I'm sorry but I came within the operating hours (until 12noon) but said she wouldn't take my blood and to go somewhere else. It would be helpful if they said they will only take blood until 11:30 on the website if they refuse people later than this as I had no idea and had already fasted for over 12 hours. It is not fair to turn people away within operating hours.

Was in the consult room for less than 3 minutes. Was charged for a full consult of $75 instead of a “less than 5 minutes” consult fee of $45. They refused to charge the lower fee and said their computer calculated the rate, when asked if they could advise the time the consult started and concluded they advised that their computer could not tell them that. This is conflicting with their previous statement that their computer system tracked consult times. Avoid this GP clinic.
