il Vigneto Pizzeria Yarra Valley

First time visiting Rockford wineries and had lunch at il Vigneto Pizzeria. We were lucky to go on a cool and sunny day so sitting outside was ideal especially with the pretty view of the lake.

There is a lot of choice on the menu and both the pasta and pizza are very reasonably priced. You can also pick the $59 set menu if you want entree, main & dessert. We all picked a pizza each; chilli prawn, salami & truffle prosciutto. I could not fault any of the pizzas, were very flavourful and loved how light and fluffy the dough was. We also had chocolate panna cotta as dessert which melted in the mouth as well as an affogatop. We obviously couldn’t resist trying the Rochford Prosecco which was light and refreshing. We also tried their other alcoholic beverages which were all great.

🥓 Carnivora - San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, ham, fennel, salami and crispy pancetta
🥔 Manzo di patate - pizza di bianca, rosemary, potato, oyster blade, ricotta cream, chilli and fresh parsley
🍅 Gamberi - San marzano tomato, garlic prawns, cherry tomato, oregano, fior di latte and fresh chilli

PASTA
🍝 Linguine pescatore - chilli garlic prawn and scallops, mussels, clams, napoli sauce and fresh parsley
🐑 16 hour slow cooked lamb ragu - pappardelle, parmesan, fried eggplant, fresh mint

We also got to try their gins - Rochford Wines are be-GIN-ing to release their flavoured gins - we tried them and loved them all!

We absolutely a-DOUGH-ed our entire experience here, especially the dog! 🐶 (though I'm sure he wanted his own PUPeroni pizza 😏

While the indoor restaurant is beautiful, I would strongly suggest sitting outdoors if weather permits. CRUST me, I mean, look at that view 😍 A gentle breeze, views of the water - that is truly the meaning of enjoying the simple things in life 💕

Very nice ambiance, food and amazing view. We did try their tasting menu which is $59 per person- includes 4 Antipasto, choice of pizza or pasta and dessert. Very good quantity and worth the visit

Really good food. Amazing service and welcoming when we came with our dog where we were seated on the deck. Had some entree, pizza and pasta and they were all delicious, especially the pizza. Sat outside next to the lake and enjoyed the views, lovely day. Thanks 😊

Visited tonight for a special musical event. Venue, staff, parking and food were all great and so was the entertainment. Highly recommend these Rochford Concert events.

I had a quick lunch at the place and was impressed with the food and service. The staff were attentive and friendly, giving full attention to diner's needs and requests. The pizza is the best I've had thus far. I will definitely be back for a meal the next time I'm in the area.

Nice little place next to a small lake. Great wood fire pizza. Abit hard to find as the main entrance is shared. Otherwise ample parking and space for helicopters. Huge ceiling fan. Worth a visit.

Scenic venue overlooking a pond. The service is good and the food is delicious.

One of the best pizza in town. Soft and ooze with cheese. They just cut the pizza in quarters. Pairing with your wine is best to enjoy..

Food was fantastic! The set menu was great value with generous portions. We sat outside with the sun shining over the lake and ducks playing. What a great experience for our first date night post lockdown.

We had great service, staff were very friendly and the set menu for the day was beautiful. Definitely didn't leave hungry.

What a great place! Had a wine tasting at the cellar door and a lovey lunch at the pizzeria a couple of weekends ago with a group of 10. The staff were great and really looked after us. We were seated outside with our 2 dogs and they even bought dog beds and bowls out for the doggos. Lovely venue too with huge green lawns and a lake, will definitely be back

Enjoyed lunch today. Big crowd, very busy. Staff were amazing. seemed to be able to satisfy everyone with their needs. Food was out of this world and delicious. Nicest wine for a long time. So impressed with the happy demeanour of all staff. Look forward to going back many times. We had a toddler on our table and they even looked after him. Well done.

Visited the restaurant without a booking and was welcomed with open arms. Seated by the window with a view of the pond. The food was amazing, the service was exemplary and the ambience was awesome. Thank you very much and will definitely go again.

The restaurant has a beautiful interior and exterior. Amazing friendly staff. Decent menu that serves nice pizzas and spaghetti. Location is great inside a green field with a view on a water bond.

We had lunch here today the food and view was great,.
However it was Chris our waiter who made our day very special. He was attentive, went out of his way to cater for our request with a smile on his face. He obviously loves his job, he ensured our lunch was a special time.
We would come back for the food and service.

Nice place. We enjoyed live music and tasty pizza. Single size is about a double portion compare to the others. Wine was excellent. Well organised evening. Money well spent.
